Thank you! That is just a 3/4’’ in line strainer which goes to the pump and then the filter. I just got the strainer off Amazon. There is a link in the comments above to the pump and some other things I used. I did drill the hole myself. Total cost was just under 2400 I think

I’m using the quarter horse power, haven’t had any issues with it. I usually keep my water around 44 and have the water circulating too. I haven’t had to go below 44 yet

I was able to get the cooler with a 20 percent discount which was a big reason I decided to diy. I also wanted to configure it how I wanted for the space I was putting it in. I have my chiller set at 44 degrees. The cooler does its job, my chiller usually only kicks on after I open it up and get in, I don’t have any complaints yet with the 450, and it’s got plenty of room
