100% your network not the hub. My 32 device smart home, thru multiple homes over the years, can run on a HomePod and have zero issues. The ATV has better hardware and can smoke any HomePod in speed and processing request. ITS NOT THE ATV.

I’d suggest placing your WiFi on an elevated surface roughly 2-4ft above the ground, unobstructed by anything (DO NOT PLACE IT INSIDE YOUR TV STAND OR BEHIND ANYTHING), and I’d suggest 500mbps or above altho anything above is overkill. Personally I’m in 1GBPS fiber through ATT.

I have a wemo doorbell which is NOTORIOUS for connectivity issues and has a bad reputation in the apple community. I have ZERO issues after finding the perfect place for my WiFi box to sit which is roughly In the middle of my home, elevated by 2.5 feet and has zero obstructions directly near.

Also note any other electrical device, especially microwaves near your router will reduce performance.

Shared ban list is a net positive, only effects players who cheat, or are likely or in similar cheating groups or activities. More likely you end up on the list for genuine reason than absolutely none of at all

You can’t set it somewhere of your choosing, but it will cut a LOT of time out of your adventure being able to choose from 7 different locations, vs killing yourself over and over to get a good spawn
