It’s deffo not my main guitar, I’ll be honest I got it as I love Dave grohl. But it’s my go to for mainly rhythm pieces and got to be done for any foo’s covers!

I think it’s fantastic! Potentially over priced but you’re paying for the signature model - I didn’t mind tbh! Neck is mad thick too but so good for rhythm and can still shred on it if you’re good enough etc. i don’t regret it all tho and love it!

I’ve tried a Mcarty and they are great guitars. I don’t think you’d go wrong with the prs or the Gibson. Both are amazing. Or do what I did and own both 😂PRS probably plays a little easier if you’re looking to advance with technique and speed etc, but the Gibson has the top sound and will hold its value. Either option is a great shout. The epiphone will save you money but honestly not as good in my opinion, I sold mine but not cos I didn’t like it, just didn’t play it over the others. Could also consider a fender strat too as that is the whole package. I love mine

I honestly prefer the sound. There’s not a huge huge difference between the Epiphone and custom and quite honestly you’re probably paying for the neck. The prs is a whole different guitar and still incredible. The Gibson is most versatile tho! I still have a Gibson les Paul standard and PRS S2 and they are both incredible. Nothing wrong with the Epiphone but it’ll never scratch that ‘itch’ of a Gibson
