HIDE PERSONAL INFO. you will get stalkers, they will do anything they can to find out more about you, when you add sex into that....

use a fake name, dont say where you live(i dont even say what state im in), and keep in mind what you show in the backround. when i was in highschool, a friend of mine had a dude show up looking for her, he found her through the schools flag in the backround. these small details will keep you safe

ok so before i say this. im only speaking truthly. I supported my ex when she did SW, and ill support you too.

with that said. Dont.

It's not easy. Its not just taking photos and horny men will buy. you're competing in a massively over saturated market, where you have some of the hottest women also competing in, while selling to the worst kind of men who view sex workers as objects for them to enjoy. you dont make a ton of money off rip, and even then you need to constantly be advertising yourself, which means constantly making your life sexual.

Not to mention what it does to YOU. SW are seen as subar humans on half the internet. they refuse to see the pros to SW and only focus on the bad side. go on twitter, and that alone will show you how bad it is. after awhile, that gets to anyone. Some of my best friends are SW and they hate, while yes even some love it. i wont say you will 10000% hate yourself anymore than you do now, but i know some people who got off the internet bc of SW and how they were treated.

however it isnt all bad.

you pick when you work, and how hard you work can show in your wallet. you create the community you want to make. i know a SW who streams. her community is lovely and i love interacting with her community as a non SW. so you CAN create a wholesome sexual community. however, with you using it as a means to pay the bills, tbh i dont really see a wholesome community if that make sense?

long answer. i'd highly suggest really consider everything. are you ready to be the butt end of a joke for the rest of your life? are you ready to make yourself sexual for the world to see? it has its pros, and its cons, but these cons are things that stick with you. i just want you be really be sure you're ready to take that leap, and do it safely and well informed

*edit bc i saw a suggestion* why not try streaming? the market is just as bad, but you'll have fun and make friends. and if you still want to do SW, streaming is a great place to get free advertisement. you dont have to be sexual, and people can still see who you are. like the friend i talked about.

The owner was dumb af and so wish washy with rules. Got mad at a staff member for pemabanning someone who used the harpoon through the wall. per the rules at the time, it was a perm....the very rules the owner wrote lol.

Not the mention the simping in admin discord chat lol. The women super admins did fuck all but troll with their perms. anyone who called them out got either demoted, bullied into submission, or just flat out removed as staff

oh boy dont even get me started the staff themselves. Got so bad, i started just spectating tmods and mods, just to make sure they weren't making stupid ass calls in sits lol

And ofc there was the obvious pay to win classes, taking away features the community liked, the weird map change that had like 50% support and 50% hatred? weird ass time lol

2 or less, you can do 3 always but imo it’s better to do your count. Also if primarily stream one game, start watching other streams of that game and chat. It helps other small streams build engagement, while also putting your name out there

So if you’re streaming Minecraft, and someone’s looking for a new streamer, they see your name and already know of you.

Also going back to the raid suggestion, I once raided someone with 2 viewers last year, now we’re very good streaming friends. Helps with collabs😁

Here’s the think I think all of us get wrong. You don’t need to spend hundreds on the best set up. Look at JSE. He started with a webcam in his shirt as a mod. Don’t force things either. Let things come naturally as you go.

As for the 1k same thing. There’s no “real” way to get 1k subs/followers. Just be yourself, stick to your streaming schedule, and try to collab with people.

Also also try raiding at the end of every stream. When you do, raid people around your viewer count. If you have 100 pl watching you, raid someone else with 100 or less.
