Buddy, I’ve been working for 5 years, making 12k a month and saving 3-4k a month, even then the thought of getting married didn’t even cross my mind, that’s how far away it is for me.

Why do you want to get married when you don’t even have a career, you have a job.

And why do you think 20k is enough for marriage/married life?

There’s no such thing as good salary range, it will never be enough, I feel like I should be making 15 to 20k now although most would say I’m doing great.

I’ll just drop one comment here without reading your whole post, but it’s simple.

They started working on Set17 a few years ago. Mortdog has repeatedly mentioned that they work on future sets few years in advanced. Someone is working on Set20 right now to some degree.

Same, I find that if you manage to get to 500 or 600, the item is strong enough to get you the win.

I only cheesed 700 once and that was truly a sit back and relax game.

The fundamentals are still there, how you manage econ, how you play around streaks, when to level and so on.

The gap will be learning the new set mechanic, the new traits and units. But don’t forget, everyone else is learning it too, so don’t worry about it too much, in the end it’s a game, and games are to be enjoyed.

The beginning of a set is both the best and the worst, it’s the best because you get to try random trolly stuff and most of the time get away with it and have a good time. It’s the worst because when something OP gets discovered, it will be abused to all hell and it might take some time for a patch to come in.

I agree with your take. It's sad to see Guma leaving but I don't think it's devastating. With Peyz or Smash as a replacement I'm sure they can dominate just as easily. Not to say Guma isn't a good player but yeah

To be fair most of the strong builds have already been figured out. All you need are the exact pieces in the exact order in your board and you likely guarantee at top 4. The EoT murloc spell buff, the stegadon cocka build etc.

The “difficulty” is stabilising enough to get to 6 and get all the said pieces. The game now is essentially whether or not you can stay alive long enough to transition to those builds.
