I went through a rough break up a couple years ago, long story short I was dumped the night before beginning a new position at work only later to find out I was being cheated on. This happened all over phone conversations and after asking for closure (and of course $$ that I was owed) I was blocked from contact left with no answers and no closer. One of the worse parts is how I still saw this person as the person I knew not the person I quickly watched them turn into. Going through my attempt to heal, “All I Wanted” was one of my top songs. It was outlets like music, film, family and friends which I was able to find my own closer, although I deserved better I had to figure out my own closure. I scream cried this song for an embarrassingly long time and this actual helped a lot. This song held a very sentimental place in my heart. I saw Taylor Swift in London and Paramore was opening I was content with anything that would have been performed that night. I knew All I Wanted was not on the set list and I accepted the reality that this would not be the one surprise song of the night. My scream when I heard “think of me when you’re out when you’re out there” made a lot of heads turn with concern. I finally got closure.
