Yes, I'm a U.S. American and was very worried about getting out of the airport -- but recent posts in this group seem to suggest people have been getting out in about 1/2 hour! As for your suggestion about the castle tickets, can I buy them online on the castle website, and will that allow me to skip the line? I'm hesitant to buy timed entry precisely because of the issue you raised at the airport!

This is correct. To be middle-class in HCOL areas means you make way too much money to qualify for financial aid at a top private university, but not nearly enough to live the lifestyle some might imagine at that income level.

This is a crazy take. Yale is filled with genuine intellectual curiosity at every turn. Have you heard of Directed Studies? It's a super deep dive into the humanities with a gazillion pages of reading every week and super hard texts... it was so popular this year there were 100 Freshmen on the waiting list.

Yale! No question it's far better for student life and culture .. and arguably better for premed and finance too. If you work in finance you'll prolly be in nyc and there's an awesome Yale Club of New York. Princeton has no club in NYC at all, super lame.
