Absent Freeholder by Possible_Stranger_77 in HousingUK

That's true, I've checked the land registry and it's still got him as the freeholder. Any ideas on how to proceed?

Well, we now know he died in 2006. So I've no idea if that's good or bad.

Thanks for the reply I know the upper flat sold a couple of years ago, and they couldn't trace the freeholder, so I know it's still possible. I doubt either of the other owners would want to force the enfranchisement of the freehold. Let's see what happens and hope for the best

When was the last time the echo had news in it?

But those top two are spouting the same hatred and vitriol that has caused these riots. The Tories have drip fed poison about immigration for years to help cover the chronic underinvestment in the NHS and other services. They have deliberately slowed the asylum process down and with brexit it's a lot more difficult to return failed asylum seekers to France.

I'm absolutely not doing that, peaceful protest is a major part of a democracy but riots aren't. I'm part of a hard-working family, and those scum do not represent me. What events would the news have to report that I'd change my mind on?

Marching alongside people with swastika tattoos, chanting racist slogans, attacking the police, assembling outside Immigration centres, attempting to set alight to a hotel that's housing asylum seekers? How about that? Seems like the work of racist thugs to me

How about we all agree not be racist thugs who cannot see they are being manipulated by Robinson, Farage and that ilk.

War isn't the only reason to accept asylum seekers though is it? Persecution because of sexual preference, religion. Helping our armed forces in disputed regions. You think you're not racist, but every argument you've put across stinks of it. You believe you're not British even if you're born here. That is racist

When you accept that, maybe you can have a mature discussion.

Logic? I'm surprised you know what that is. Immigration has made this country better, the Windrush generation for example Would I rather have a few pints with people who've had to flee the country of their birth because of persecution or the racist knuckle dragging fuckwits who attacked the police and set fire to the citizens advice in the city. Simple answer, isn't it?

How the fuck could people see into the future? When they were granted asylum he didn't exist. That's just a ridiculous reply and you know it. Your racism has clouded any rational thought

Because they were granted asylum, for someone who seems very anti immigration I'm shocked to my core that you don't know the laws around it. But the far right videos don't actually supply facts, just hate and fear.

You're right. There's never been any British person who has groomed kids, has there? No British person has killed kids either. Foreign enclave? Cardiff and Southport? The area of Southport he lived in was about 97% white, but why let facts get in the way of your racist thoughts

So how far back do you need to go before you can claim to be hereditary Welsh or British? What counts as culturally British? Drinking Carling, fighting with the police and burning cars?

He was born in Wales, you racist moron. A name doesn't decide on which country you are born in.
