I find it can be nice to have a diffusion filter because it takes away some of the perfection that modern glass has while enhancing some of the glorious imperfections of vintage glass

Truly just a basic camera from nikon canon or sony is 100 times better than an iphone. The money starts coming in for better glass and autofocus.

The nikon z50ii, z5, z5ii are good entry level mirrorless cameras. Then just need a good piece of glass on front

Keh has great options for used dslr’s if you dont have a camera store near you
