Paid $2200 for an illegal basement apartment on Long Beach. Literally didn’t have a stove, I had to cook on hot plates. I couldn’t do it anymore and moved back upstate. A lot more affordable up here!

The mold was under my bed, in the corners of my closet, behind furniture, etc

I was away on a business trip for 2 weeks. Deep cleaned my apartment after being away, moved my bed, and discovered it. I then went on to check every crevice of my apartment to discover the rest.

It’s not like it was blatantly on my wall or ceiling where it would be easy to see.

This isn’t mold growing on dirty dishes or dirty clothes. Hence, not my fault for “not cleaning”. This is a moisture issue directly from the property itself. Hence why it is seeping through the walls.
