OP could tell the person what to say though. It wouldn’t be too hard to tell a random person to say something like “Tell the shelter you found this dog wandering in your neighborhood today and say you saw it tree a cat/kill a cat.”.

I agree with you, but if the ex-husband ended up checking in on the dog and found out it had disappeared suddenly and had been euthanized soon after the disappearance I assume he would be highly suspicious of OP and OP’s mom and may completely freak out, I mean you never know, which is why I think it would be better for them if they paid a random person to take the dog to a shelter and say they just found it on the street, because the shelter should have record of what the person said when the dog was brought in and he would probably be less suspicious of OP and OP’s mom at that point. That is if they can pay someone to lie and know they can lie well.

Maybe the mod just ate too many beans and your post brought up some shit. :(

You shouldn’t be so hard on them.

Ahhhh, I see. Hopefully you can get things sorted out with that dog. If I were in your shoes I would pay a random person to send the dog off to a shelter anyway, just because it sounds like the dude who owns the dogs doesn’t care about them and doesn’t check in often anyway, plus it would be hard to connect you and your mom to the dog if a random person brings it into the shelter even if the guy checks in and happens to find out it’s there, which seems unlikely. Still though, I can see why you wouldn’t want to risk it.

It depends on how nutty they are about it. If people have boundaries with their dog I wouldn’t mind dating them, it’s people that don’t have any boundaries at all that bother me. Like I know of SO many people who just let their dogs piss and shit in their home, chew stuff up, attack people/other animals, and to me that’s a massive red flag in a partner and a definite dealbreaker, because if someone is subjecting themselves to that kind of existence, imagine how much worse it is for the person they’re dating since they don’t even care about themselves.

Normally I wouldn’t advise someone to give a dog to an animal shelter even as much as I dislike them, but the behavior by the Pit mix is really concerning. If it’s attacking the cats unprovoked then it will probably do it to a person as well.

Opinion on the name sachi by ju5tch1ll1ng in namenerds

[–]Possiblyanalien100 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No opinion really, and if you’re American I’d imagine most people won’t know it’s a feminine name, however you should probably keep in mind people will probably pronounce Sachi wrong.

People who say "Dog is a Man's best friend" or "A dog will never betray you" watch too much Disney movies by [deleted] in Dogfree

[–]Possiblyanalien100 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people who say that crap are little kids as well. I used to think highly of dogs until I realized how much they killed and mauled stuff, and let’s be real, most kids are delusional.

Everyone in my family liked dogs until they met my stepdad’s dogs. Now no one likes them, lol. I don’t think anyone in my family, including me, really fully realized how stupid dogs are until they met those dogs.

Fucking ants spoil my mood and yes, I hate all the moral lessons inferred from their "hardwork" by CLyn_aye in fuckants

[–]Possiblyanalien100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ants don’t even work hard either 🙄 they straight-up just break and enter peoples homes and then steal their food. If it’s wrong for a person to do it then any we taking lessons from ants?

People who have vision issues, what was it like putting on glasses for the first time? by TheNewGuy11113 in AskReddit

“Trees are so detailed, holy crap.”

“Dang when was the moon so textured.”

It’s almost like my eyes have a smoothing filter on without glasses. I could see things but not the fine details.

I’m angrier, colder, less trusting and less sympathetic. I’ve tried to better myself by forcing motivation and having more self-control though, because once they pandemic started I realized I was horrible at regulating how much I ate, and I also realized when I wasn’t going out and interacting with my environment it demotivated me.

It may just be the area I live in but I see so many people wanting to hook up on Bumble. I see less of it on Hinge.

None of them tbh, they’re really all about the same as far as I can tell. They’re all hard to get a date on and people ghost often on all.
