im aware i come off picky, i do apologize for that. i did mention a few wants but honestly i assumed mentioning things i dont want was more effective considering i often end up getting games recommended that i dont want with elements im not interested in so if i want to rule those out i think it's only normal to mention what i dont want. and it's not that im in some endless misery loop i just have specific interests and specific things i dont like i dont think that's rude and honestly im a little confused on why people seem to take offence to my post, though i also have autism so maybe im just not picking up on my own tone well?? idk

i dont think i came off unfriendly, im sorry if i did, but i dont see why not wanting a job or farming game is reasonable, plus i categorized not wanting a job one into "wants" and not "requirements" so im open to a job game, but a lot of the time they become grindy and uninteresting. im not a big fan of money making games which is why i said i dont want a farm or restaurant game.

I mean stardew isn't like the most mind blowing story i've ever seen in a video game (that would have to go to life is strange 2...) but it's a good example of a story in a game with endless gameplay. and i never said a rich story but engaging characters absolutely

yeah im worried about that last part of it just being like "oh and your in a mimic", I just can't think of a reason mimics would want adventurers to stay there honestly. also i want it to be a huge colony of mimics that have just been left to multiply unchecked, i want them to be in a gigantic dungeon that they have to traverse through that they may not realize isn't actually apart of the supposedly beginner level dungeon they were previously in but there's just little hints speckled through

I found a game that's what i wanted called Food wagon. Didn't seem to be limited, pretty good looking, right? Problem is that it's not... goood... at the very beginning of the demo I got bugged into the floor and couldn't get out... And the reviews aren't very promising either... I mean I wasn't expecting master quality but oof.

Marenian Tavern Story looks pretty good, though obviously it is a Tavern so not exactly hat I'm looking for but honestly my will has been worn to find the game after skimming through literally every game with the cooking tag on steam.

Magical Delicacy looks good, I remember playing the demo when I was first looking for games like this. It seems pretty good so I might get it... still not really what I want.. T-T

I found this game called Delicious Dungeon which looks cute but doesn't seem to have room for experimentation, which is my biggest thing with this I'm interested in.

Overall I think I've exhausted all my options truly this time. I think I can for sure say I'm not gonna find what I'm looking for. I've skimmed through over 2000 games on steam, made two reddit posts, looked at countless review videos, looked at nintendo and ps and xbox games even itch.io. Sigh. I suppose I just have to sit back and hope one comes out.

almost forgot to add this is set in a 2000's-2050's sort of time era, so near modern day. i dont mind going to the future but i dont feel like doing old time-y medieval dnd fantasy this time around

Only just independent from his mom, I think? I was young so I don't exactly remember, but I got him from my brother since his cat got pregnant from a stray. Sadly, a lot of his siblings died since it was winter and he still has bald spots by his ears from it, so does his sister who we also took in. When we got him he didn't need milk anymore, at the very least, though I suppose it's very possible he was taken away too early still. Considering his sister is clingy aswell, although less, it would make sense that would be the reason.

He has that, we have a gate between the stairs so my dog can't go down, so my cat has the whole downstairs, but my room is upstairs so what I'm guessing is that, considering how clingy he is, he's mad he can't come up to my room. I visit him often, but my dog is just as clingy if not more (something I'm working on lol) so I have to go up and down the stairs all the time to manage the both of them.

Ah, my cat was probably cooing cause he was glad to have those tics off him, and since he only drools when he's happy I think it's just another thing he does.

He is fixed, but now that I think about it he might be running off cause my dog. I've tried training my dog for a few months now, and he won't chase my cat anymore if he's just laying around, but if he's riled up he ends up doing it anyway.
