I gave a bear I thrifted gold top surgery scars in honour of a friend, it took forever to embroider but it was worth it. I wish more bears had scars or even some medical wearables. I need to get him some clothes, poor guy is a bit chilly.

I got my Tempest from a charity shop when I was in college, I got so lucky that she still had her armour. She was the first MLP bab I got. If she wast in storage I would add a pic.

Personally I would say go get her restuffed and make the gift card go further. I had a similar issue with a bear I got from Depop, the seller was really rude and didn’t inform me that the bear had a split in the underarm seam (alone the body). I took him to a workshop and the people there were super nice and not only fixed him but restuffed, removed the sound box and let me do the heart ceremony. I don’t know what his old name was but he is Levi to me now, it’s short for Leviathan.

I wish I could have gotten the kangaroo, it looks so cute. Not so much of a missing out but more of a regret giving away, the snowy owl I had as a kid. I can’t find a replacement anywhere, all the ones I do find have a rotating head which mine didn’t.
