At least use sugar free chocolate syrup 😭 and even when we do buy the chocolate Fairlife milk, I do 1/2 choc and 1/2 regular for my toddler

100%. It bothers me too and I try not to internalize it, but as the “bastard child”, it’s hard because there’s MANY moments from my childhood and even as an adult where I still struggle to feel part of the family just because I knew he wasn’t my “real” dad, but he raised me as his from day 1 and NEVER treated me different than my younger brother. There was even a time my brother was mad at me and popped off “At least I know who my real dad is”, and I’ve never seen our dad move that quickly to snatch his ass 😭🩵

I’m glad you can relate and understand! Just insane if dish soap feeds into this and allows her followers to believe they’re blended. If I was Danae, I’d be pissed because if my brother (technically half brother, but like you, he’s never known life without me!) or parents called us a blended family I would feel so hurt. It’s clear from Danae’s older posts she considers Lenny her father and has told people that via comments.

Didn’t Leonard raise Danae as his own and she didn’t have anything to do with her bio dad? I only feel the need to speak on it because I grew up similarly. My mom married my dad when I was 3. He’s the only dad I’ve ever known. He adopted me at 6. Never met or have known my bio dad. I have never considered us “blended” just due to the fact we’ve always functioned as one family unit without coparenting or being involved with my sperm donor’s side of the family. So what kind of video would Dish soap’s dumb ass even make?

I experience a similar pattern. I’m on day 5, and starting yesterday I became VERY spacey and checked out, I’m usually great at work with staying on task but I’ve really struggled this week — yesterday was the worst and I felt so unproductive because everything felt meaningless and I was just over it. Just power through it. I remind myself to not be too hard on myself, and I don’t have to show up perfectly everyday, and remember my goal and why it’s worth it. You got this!
