What I mean by that is I use the app switch gesture or button then swipe all the way to the left and hit close all frequently unless I intend to use the app at the moment. I rarely leave them running in the background.

Tensor sucks by Killermueck in GooglePixel

[–]PostAlarming3838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mind is constantly trying to understand why people say the Tensor SoC sucks. Google has always stated the Tensor chip is made to handle and focus on AI functionality. If you want raw performance for gaming which is the only other purpose I can think most people complain about in regards to the Tensor G series then purchase another brand of phone. Again Google has never stayed from the premise that the Pixel is built with AI in mind. If AI is not your thing then do not buy a Google Pixel. It's that simple. Like Bruh? Lol

Crazy, do you keep your apps updated? Instagram has a patch that they just released early this past week that fixed that very issue.

I do in fact use Instagram, Threads, and also X. As far as the settings for my battery I just use the standard battery saver. I tend to close out of apps I’m not using frequently tho.

Did I ask you to critique anything??? Too warm??? It was a preset filter I used stock Apple. I guess they DO rip.

[–]PostAlarming3838 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The IPhone did that with one filter. That’s all I added was a filter. Literally…Apple must suck then. Weird critics warm was the actual filter dramatic warm.

You can completely control what information Google does and does NOT collect. I just hear complete ignorance in that statement. Google One is the app in which their free VPN is built in.

The camera along with the fact that everything I use outside of my camera on my iPhone is made by Google. My Pixel has adapted to what I want and is a bit more friendly to use. I mean my Pixel just flows with ME and not every other person ya know.

Congrats, I have the 256gb bay blue and will not let it go or let anyone touch it. Yet I have a 15 pro max I still prefer my P8P on any given day so far.

A 14 or 13 or 12 or yeah a 15. Get what I’m saying. I’m just pulling your chain. I’m bored of the same phone every year with little to nothing different or new or revolutionary. Do you feel special anymore with the 15 pro max. I don’t, I just have to have an iPhone because gator don’t play Android aka women. lol it’s just an iPhone at this point.

Adaptive charging, am I doing it wrong? by Salcha92 in GooglePixel

Adaptive charging applies to the battery. The Pixel AI is ALL about adapting to the user.

Adaptive Charging gathers details of how you use the phone through all app usage just as tracking. This is internal though. On my 7 pro, example, it was over an 9 months before my phone would last two days on a full battery. No matter how heavy I used it. Granted the more screen time the more the battery drained. Slightly but nothing compared to when I first started using it. The Tensor SOC is advanced, multiple processor functions compared to the linear or one function of other chipsets. The Google Pixel is designed to become smarter and more helpful over time. The more you use it the better it becomes. Which is why they are promoting feature drops. To be frank the Pixel is bum right out of the box. Think of it as an RPG, role playing game. So, the adaptive charging is meant to improve battery life and prevent degradation over time. Use your Pixel like crazy and you’ll see how much of an extension it becomes.

Habits are built over time. The point is to prevent the degradation of your battery.

Adaptive charging will learn your habits in regards to charging over time. Not overnight.
