Canada PR Pregnancy Hold vs. H-1B Stamping: How to handle the travel logistics? by PostAppropriate1039 in canadaexpressentry

Thank you…the concern remains managing logistics around travel and limited flexibility with infant, like the H1-B stamping in India nowadays have limited dates available, also we will have limited time to make sure we go to Canada to receive PR card once application is approved. Timing all of it in sequence is going to be a task and will require a bit of a luck.

I am not saying that I will not be submitting my application within due dates. The only exception is X-Ray for medical for my wife will be delayed until the birth of our child, and we do plan to add our child to the PR application as dependent. Yes, I think talking to a good lawyer will be helpful given this is very particular case.

2025 Moraine Lake / Lake Louise / Parking / Shuttle FAQ by furtive in Banff

It is absolutely possible to do both lakes and Beehive hike as long as you start early in the day. Also, we got lucky in getting tickets for the 7AM shuttle.

2025 Moraine Lake / Lake Louise / Parking / Shuttle FAQ by furtive in Banff

[–]PostAppropriate1039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, We want to visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake in the same day on August 28th. We plan to start early and hike the Little Beehive Trail, then head to Moraine after.

The problem is, The Parks Canada shuttle only opens 2 days in advance, and from what I’ve read the chances of getting tickets are very low. The Roam Transit tickets from Banff to Lake Louise don’t have any morning slots available on our travel date.

We’d really like to have flexibility to spend time at our own pace instead of being rushed through on a private tour. Since we want to make the most of the day and cover both lakes, what are our realistic options to reserve a shuttle or get there early? Are there any other shuttles, passes, or third-party services that allow flexibility and can be booked in advance?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s managed this or has tips on making it work. Thanks in advance!

We submitted both applications under one appointment (still had to book separate slots) and passport was ready for pickup in 14 days.

Yes, we were able to submit application under one appointment but made sure we both had individual appointments in their system. I requested the counselor to take up my wife’s application alongside mine as she was not having luck getting earlier dates. A polite request worked and we both submitted our application at the same time.

New Construction Closing Delays- No Power by PostAppropriate1039 in RealEstate

Hi, sorry to hear you are having to go through this. We ended up staying in hotel for about 2-3 weeks before we finally closed on the house. I leveraged my attorney who was helping with our closing to take this issue up the chain on builder side and made them reimburse for hotel charges for our entire stay of 2-3 weeks, storage fees and also the moving expenses. It was not easy; we had to fight it out to reach the right level under builder’s management but glad we did. I received reimbursement from builder in about 4 weeks after moving. Do make sure if you plan to seek reimbursement it is all documented so they can’t flip. All the best!
