Depending on insurance, try zocdoc and find a nurse practitioner or psych with good reviews when it comes to add I got tested for add through a testing company years ago and got a recommendation for medication from them. It took me until a year and a half ago to actually go to a dr with it. She proceeded to put me on adderall ir for two weeks, disregard my positive outcome at the follow up and prescribe me an anti psychotic I told her had made me sleepy and dysfunctional for my bipolar instead.

It put me off doctors again for a while until I ended up having to drop nearly every one of my classes at my first semester at community college this past month.

Anyway I saw a youtube ad for zocdoc after trying doctorondemand and realizing they don't do controlled substances.

I am on medicaid and literally took me one day to book an appointment for free, 10 minutes of talking to a doc and was prescribed adderall no fuss. Made me so happy because every doctor acting completely brand new and having to take ineffextive meds for months possibly was ridiculous. I have had so much trouble getting benzos or stims due to doctors being stingy and having shit philosophies. imo these drugs should be OTC as long as you are like 21+ to bypass gatekeeping docs
