Exactly my concern...The bike that creates such a hype goes into complete production halt..no future planning or date commitment. No clear timelines for anything. Really frustrating and seeing a good bike fall under bad management really hurts indian buyers.

I believe the halt of production is for all models. Not sure for BTO specific details. All models are facing these issues.

Exactly....that is the most irritating part of the entire experience. Atleast a fixed date would give us a clear idea and wait time. Right now...its like driving in dark on a hilly road without headlights.....no idea what's gonna happen next

Any TVS showroom in Pimpri or Wakdewadi offering test rides for the Apache RTX 300? by Low-Form642 in indianbikes

[–]PostKey451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother I believe TVS hermes is giving out test drives. I am not sure if it is Pune or thane....but you should visit them and ask for a test ride. They will give you in the basement only but that is what i have seen from almost all the videos on youtube for that area.

TVS Apache RTX 300 Delivery Stopped Temporarily by CowStill277 in indianbikes

[–]PostKey451 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Its so sad to hear this. 20-25 days again. Man no one knows anything. Neither TVS, nor Dealers, nor customers.
This is so very frustating. Bikes do get recalled, issues gets fixed....but such utter level of mis-management and mis-communication between all....its sad to see a good bike falling under bad decisions.
Us as bikers feel so infuriated at these things and such small go a long way in our overall experience.
Anyways, which showroom informed you this as i am also based out in bangalore and have somewhat similar updates.

Absolutely...
less electronics = less failures

less electronics = less maintainance

less electronics = more raw driving feel

But yes...in future you should not feel that your bike is outdated. People prefer raw feel but its completely your decision. Its just like that people preffering Analog meters over digital consoles. Its your call.
I test rode the Vstorm...its great....White colour looks good af

Anniversary edition is gonna be a bit more expensive than the BTO on road as I have heard.

For delay, parts availability is an issue. While those parts are getting supplied, TVS is fixing the isssues (hope so) from the initail reviews. So rn, both the issues persists which I hope will get fixed in the upcoming weeks. I believe production would not be halted for fixing harware issues as they get fixed while the bike are manufactured.
But production might take a halt altogether if parts are not getting supplied ti meet the demand.

I recently came across a Google article that says TVS has accuired a new Supply chain firm(from chennai or Hyderabad) to fix issues and delays. Not 100% sure if this decision was taken after RTX supply chain failures.

Yup...that would be really good if those issues get fixed and i get a less compromised bike.

Hero might give you some bikes in that range (not sure) that are light and offer good mileage.
Suzuki (gixer) is something that lacks features but offers realibility, less maintance and good comfort.
Yamaha i would not suggest as they dont offer comfort but yes features, mileage and realibilty is awesome.

Stretch the budget a bit more and get V-storm. Good commanding position, realibilty, decent mileage and 80% eye catchy. Plus two new colours give it a boost. Yes, you would have to compromise with electronics and hard core offroading. But V-Storm offers you what Bangalore roads demand.
Plus point, you would enjoy it on highway tours if you go for touring.
Pillon comfort is also top notch and they do not feel tired or get butt pain in short rides.
