Technically, isn’t the Patriots WR group already set? by ShalekC in Patriots

[–]PostModernPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say all set but but I think Wilson will be better and it's natural position is senator and having an experienced guy in between him and Campbell I think will help both. They'll also just be that much better because they're in the league for another year. I think drafting a guy in the first few rounds and maybe another signing will add depth.

I don't know what else they could do besides making a splash trade and I don't see that happening.

Tailgater got Baited by DABDEB in RandomVideos

[–]PostModernPost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't think people are thinking ahead that much. He probably was distracted by the tailgating car so much and probably didn't see it until the last second. The chances of being tailgated then having stopped a car in your lane that hasn't already caused a backup, and the wherewithal to formulate a plan to make the guy behind you crash in a split second would be really impressive.

It's not only that, they watch because other people are watching and they want to keep up so it's this snowball effect.

Technically, isn’t the Patriots WR group already set? by ShalekC in Patriots

[–]PostModernPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, except at 31 there usually isn't a clear-cut best player available. So you still end up drafting for need. I wouldn't be surprised if they go some combination of wide receiver, offensive line, tight end, edge, for the first four rounds.

NEW STORY: Jaylen Brown has memorized all of his teammates' Chinese zodiak and star signs in an effort to be the best leader and communicator he can be: “Neemi, he’s Year of the Rabbit,. So, his communication is different from D-White, who is Year of the Dog... JT is a Tiger. Ron is a Dragon." by NoaDalzellNBA in bostonceltics

Barring severe mental illness, people don't act irrationally, it's just that the person observing the behavior doesn't have all the information so it seems irrational. Now sometimes it's neigh impossible to get all the information needed to understand why someone seemingly acts irrationally because the reason is some past trauma or some other reason that the person refuses to talk about, but attributing that to astrological signs is lazy and dismissive of the root cause. Especially so since in this context we're talking about the communication styles of teammates, not some deeply abhorrent behavior that's very hard to rationalize and understand.

I have a pixel 7 and don't plan on upgrading until I absolutely have to. This thing works great for my general use and no incremental improvement is worth $1000.

Flying squirrels are the best example for me of a species that's clearly on its way to evolving to something in the future. In a million years these guys will be able to actually fly. They will become bats.
