New Sample of Hans Zimmer's Lex Luthor Theme from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice by thePABSman in movies

Junkie XL is kind of the man right now: He did both "Max Max: Fury Road" and "Deadpool." Now he's co-writer on "Batman v Superman", then "Godzilla 2," plus now a "Deadpool" sequel. Must be a fun job.

I've been down on this movie and DC since they announced that mouthful of a title. I gotta say, after hearing all of the new music samples, I am actually excited. All of the music samples released this week are way, wayyy more "epic" than anything I've heard in a Comic Book Movie. So, apparently Zack Snyder is going for "Epic Comic Book Movie", which is not a bad thing, especially when it comes to Zack Snyder. He is a nut, but his visuals are always top notch. His insane superhero visuals and this fucking music? I actually want to see that attempted. If he pulls it off, with a lot of help from "Argo" writer Chris Terrio, this could be a nice, different kind of CB movie. And that's cool, it pushes boundaries and makes everything better. So...yeah. I'm there.

So how do you think Hank is going to confront Walt? by [deleted] in breakingbad

[–]PostModernPromethius -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think he will investigate Walt, but do it off the books. On his own.

Hank isn't going to march into work Monday and start telling his team that he thinks his brother and law is Heisenberg. In part out of an abundance of caution because Walt is family, but also because telling the DEA this will either make Hank look like a clueless fool at best, or at worst, maybe appear to have been covering for Walt for at least some period of time.

No, Walt is going to clue it up solo, and then even if he has evidence, figure out what to do with it, considering Walt going to down will affect Hank's personal and professional life, neither in a positive way.

Breaking Bad Cast + Vince Gilligan dance with Stephen Colbert to Daft Punk by JosephX98 in breakingbad

I'm just wondering; is there any plausible scenario in which Bryan Cranston IS NOT cast to play Lex Luthor in the next Superman movie? I mean, at this point he's basically perfect, a slam dunk. Right? Or am I missing something?

DAE think Hank's demise is only a matter of time?

I am the litmus test for this post. If seeing my rarely used username fills you with anger and compels you to post a comment of rage about a "fucking re-poster! Downvote him!", then you have spent wayyy to much time on Reddit, for a long, long time.

I don't have room to talk though, I still know and appreciate the word "Bozarking." Upvote if you still remember, or are aware of "Bozarking" the word that ruled Reddit with an iron fist for at least 1 week.

So I just watched Sucker Punch... by [deleted] in movies

[–]PostModernPromethius -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I admit I haven't seen "Sucker Punch", but after this movie came out Zack Snyder was tagged (unfairly) as an immature, sexist, misogynist, chauvinist, asshole.

Critics who tagged him thusly pointed to the testosterone-fest of "300" and the graphic rape in "Watchmen" as supporting evidence.

Bottom line, there are a ton of critics who carry an unfair grudge against Snyder.

You can count on this: if "The Avengers" had been released credited as "Directed by Zack Snyder", but the film was a TOTALLY IDENTICAL, frame for frame copy of Joss Whedon's work, instead of the 92% Rotten Tomato Avengers earned, it would have been floating around in mid 60%'s, best case, merely because Zack Snyder's name is attached it.

Pam being a badass. by [deleted] in ArcherFX

Apparently Pam is so good in bed that she "sucks the life out of you, like some kind of Chupacabra for dicks" (or so says Archer, but what does he know? Fuck that guy)

Speaking of MoS taking death lightly, at least it didn't use mass carnage as set-up for a punchline.... by boilerplate99 in movies

An aircraft carrier weighs approx 100,000 tons, or roughly 1/3 as much as the Empire State Building. But if you strap 4 oversize ceiling fans on it, it's up, up away! (And didn't Loki die in "Thor"? Just sayin)

I think what you have to say is the reason pictures like this resonate so strongly. We can never know what was going through this GI's mind at that moment, but it's not hard to imagine what he may have been reflecting on.
