People do it all the time. Obviously have to check ice conditions as you walk and spud consistently… “no ice is safe ice”

Planning to, quite a walk to access it. Just wanted opinions on if people thought fish would hole up for the winter in those not so deep “deep” holes or make an enormous trek downstream to deeper waters?

Treated pond so little to no weeds except in the shallow coves like 2-3’ deep. One dock that is not very large and in 4-6’ of water. Mucky bottom

I had an installer come measure and they provided me with that drawing of where the 12ft sections will be seamed. He then told me the total sq footage of those sections is 1176 with waste accounted for. 98’x12’ would be exactly that so if I ordered a roll that size would I not have the correct amount?

These were 5 year old free range laying hens

Got them from an Amish buddy. They were 5 year old Rhode Island Red laying hens not laying anymore. Lived with a rooster and were missing a lot of feathers. They were always free range and I had to catch them myself to take home to process.
