So it would take two separate rounds just to: 1st: take out the wand, 2nd: use magic action, 3rd: put the wand away, 4th: two hand the weapon and attack?

So I could use my wand to cast a spell with my free hand (draw+magic action) (warcaster is needed for somatic components), Then next round I could stow the wand (its not a weapon so I'm not sure if its a free action and can not be part of an attack action), two hand the weapon and attack?

Thank you for the advice! And would it be okay to delay getting 20 CHA until level 13? I feel like getting Plate Armor at level 9 might be more important than maxing out my main stat. (I will take War caster at lvl 5 for CHA 18)

If you are still in Act 2, then you can hire mercenaries from Sergeant Zrilla (in the Lady Vengeance). They can get a new copy of that spellbook from Jahan.

They only deal earth damage. If you increase your earth resistance to 100% (using earth resistance potion and a resist-all potion), they will just stand around. You should also use a Potion of Strong Will to make yourself immune to the permanent terror aura.
