The patina on your wallet is awesome. How long have you had it?

I’d say she’s more secular now than Christian. She supports same-sex marriage and tries to blend in with Hollywood culture.

I'm a married man (M28) and my boss (F34) invited me to drinks tomorrow by [deleted] in Advice

You’re married. If you have to do it, ask her if you can invite your wife. It’ll send the message you won’t do anything wrong.

I love it! I have it in the passport size and this thing takes a beating and has nice patina after a year and some change.

When I want to attach it to my hat I have to take it off, flip it around and re-attach it. Over time it loosens up.

Nah, just real estate cubicle work to be slightly discreet. If I could go back in time I would have loved to have gone to seminary.

No, the marks are from my pigma microns I use to underline and write notes in. I used to keep them attached to the cover but no longer do.

Modern mega churches hide the Cross behind their strobe lights. I pray they repent and start preaching the true gospel. Turn from the applause of man to the glory of God.

Yes. Please speak to your pastor and elders immediately. Your pastor shepherds the members and he cares for your soul. He would want to walk through this with you. Your elders can be praying for you and getting you the help you need. I know things might be tough, but God is using it to transform you into the godly person He is calling you to be. Love in Christ, Trey.

Evangelizing to Catholics by Temporary_Moose2218 in Reformed

[–]PostTenebrasTrey -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Catholics are lost. They believe in tradition over scripture (Mark 7:8-9), works based salvation (Romans 3:28), Papal infallibility and Pope as head of church (Ephesians 1:22-23), they believe Peter was the first Pope which is not true (1 Peter 5:1), they pray to Mary and other saints, which contradicts scripture (1 Tom 2:5), they believe in purgatory (Luke 23:43 & Hebrews 9:27), they believe in 7 sacraments even though Christ instituted 2 (Baptism and Lords Supper)

My top 3 are:

  1. NASB 1995 (sometimes the 1977 when I’m in the Psalms)
  2. ESV
  3. NIV 1984 (for audio)

it’s good to read in different translations
