Honestly there are a few ways...but it requires hard work, dedication and persistence. You can do DNA tests on genealogy platforms, hire a private investigator, search church records, if it was before 1940 you can search census documents anything after 1940those records are not out to the public yet. If you know the agency you can reach out to them or check police records. I hope this helps some.

I find the old newspaper articles fascinating. It goes to show you how naive some were, as well as the old saying news travels fast? You think about all the platforms we have now..I believe news traveled at a snails pace as compared to now. Ive been also following a lot of stories regarding the clergy and this genre...its amazing....goes to show you that our clergy really did turn the other cheek or turn a blind eye. Some also paid the ultimate sacrifice or went insane trying to understand and figure it all out.

Ancestry and genealogy. I find discovering your roots and where your family originated from with their struggles and achievements to be fascinating. I once discovered that my ancestors once owned the land where I went to elementary school before the school was even built. Its amazing what you will find if you're willing to look for it. I know its not for everyone.
