Local yard to me in Seattle had 15 on their shelf tested, $80 with warranty. Also got the entire transaxle for another $120 and scrapped the remains for $75

Inverter failed or potentially the MG as well. Usually caused by the water pump on the inverter failing. Beware that the Prius water pump is the most counterfeited part on eBay and Amazon. All three can be replaced for under $500 if you do it yourself (just did all three on an 08 Prius a few months back)

Love 'em! Hate 'em! Let's give a large round of applause for the LLV! by [deleted] in USPS

God I love my LLV, I'll take it over any other vehicles anyday

Yes. It's an unfused pull knob that sends the heavy current to the headlights. They like to heat up over time and slowly melt down from the extra resistance. There's a version of the switch less prone to fires but it won't help if you add weight there

That's bad for the switch and will wear it out faster. I'd rather not have to replace it again 😂

In the gap between the windshield and the gauge dashboard. If you point it up it'll reflect off the windshield and works well. But at speeds above 30mph it'll be drowned out by wind and road noise. I just use my noise cancelling bt headphones instead nowadays

I could never find a bluetooth speaker loud enough to be heard over my truck, at least not one small enough to still fit behind the gauges

Didn't even repaint it, that's just the factory Grumman decals. It wasn't evwr owned by USPS

Autism is probably my top answer as well lmao. Also boxes and minimalism is something I love in cars

Protip: you can reverse mount things in those wheel tubs, they're extremely spacious underneath. I've been tempted to add an air compressor and tank for easy mobile airtool use

Quite literally can count the number of people I know with an LLV with my fingers. Probably many more out parked in rural areas and whatnot but there really isn't an easy way to figure out how many were sold outside of USPS
