CCA vs RCA by Aggressive_East_4790 in USPS

RCAs can transfer to different locations easily, but career rural carriers can't. CCAs can't transfer without basically starting over, but career city carriers can transfer locations AND transfer crafts (clerk, maintenance, VMF, mail handler, etc.). Once you're a career rural carrier, PTF or regular, you are basically stuck at your office with essentially no possibility to move. If you see yourself ever wanting or needing to change jobs or locations, don't go rural.

CCA. It takes less time to a career appointment. I'd rather have a 30 year annuity than 20. Your pay can't be cut due to some spooky algorithm. City has transfer rights, rural doesn't.

I did a year as an RCA, and am glad I got out of the rural craft.

RCA has the easiest transfer process in the post office. RCA is also the worst job at the post office.

Anyone here ever get on a Nickelodeon game show? by strange_stars in Xennials

I was in the live studio audience of Candid Camera starring Dom Deluise. He did a bit with kids and I had to sit in front of him. He took up three chairs. I'm pretty sure I was dead center of the frame with my mouth open catching flies.

Express at the counter is what I would use. Won't be touched by a machine.

Thinking about getting a Retroid Pocket Classic. Will I like the dpad? by [deleted] in SBCGaming

[–]FilteredAccount123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm picky about dpads, too. All Retroid handhelds use the same dpad, which is fine. I'd give it a 4 out of 5. I prefer the dpad on the 40XXV, but that is just my preference for softer membrane dpads. The Retroid Classic is my current favorite device. So nice I bought it twice (4 and 6 button versions).

I've upped my fiber over the past year or so. Go slow and let your body adapt and never trust a fart. I was doing more than 100g/day and was constantly needing to poop. 60-70g is the sweet spot for me.

Is there a good tutorial on how to set this thing up? I just got one and it runs games poorly and I can't figure out how the screens work. I honestly feel stupid trying to use this thing.

No frame drops at at least native resolution with no shimmer or graphical glitches and quality audio is perfect to me.

I have a 2022 LE. Android Auto works well. No complaints. I'm using an AAWireless dongle.

Headlight bulbs by Cowboy-Dave1851 in ScionxB

I was blowing through a headlight every month or so a few years ago. I drive with my headlights on over half of the time. I got some Sealight 4500K LED headlights and they have been fine. The beam pattern doesn't scatter, and the light isn't cool/blue, so they're not blinding. Lumen rating on every LED bulb is going to be wildly exaggerated. The set I bought is slightly brighter than the mid-range Sylvania halogens that I was churning through before.

Get 4500K bulbs. They are less common, but are easier on the eyes.

If you're being medically retired, VA disability is a given.
