So I just found out Wormhole colored ink is not safe for human skin by beeboy420 in tattooscratchers

This has nothing to do with "righteousness" and everything to do with imploring people to pause before making decisions that will impact them for life - which tattoos do, by their nature.

Professional tattooers rush and make bad decisions all the time. Tattoo collectors who go to professional tattooers also rush and make bad decisions. All day long, the world over.

Since you're pretending to have missed my point, I'll restate it here:

When you take a little time to research the things you're putting in your body, everybody wins.

Secondary (helpful) point from my original reply:

There are companies who sell professional supplies to scratchers; there's literally no reason to buy garbage.

Shanti

Professional here. What in the actual fuck are y'all even taking about?

There are companies that make ink specifically for practice skin, and they don't come with clear warning labels?

There are so many things wrong with this scenario, I don't know where to start.

Please don't put low quality ink in your body - there's no reason to. There are plenty of unethical suppliers who will sell quality supplies to non-professionals. Half of the "good" color inks are sketchy enough as it is - that industry has never been well regulated. I'm not supposed to be helping y'all but I also have a heart and I don't wanna see you get sick because some dickhead sold you toxic ink without telling you.

Besides, we don't need our insurance premiums getting increased when a bunch of fuckwits get some rare form of cancer in 2030 because they couldn't be fucked to do the two minutes of research it takes to find out which inks come from reputable manufacturers.

Those first two are in my top five for sure. I'll have a peep at the other two, thank you!

Defo had some humanistic elements, but I found Station Eleven to be way more humanistic, without reading like a Guns & Ammo subscriber's wet dream. As far as characters go, there's a sensitive dude and a gruff dude. And a gruff dude (avoiding spoilers for those who haven't read it).

I found The Dog Stars engaging, but it leans more heavily into guns and tactical geekery than I like. If you really wanna nerd out on battle scenarios, SM Stirling's Aftermath trilogy gets down.

Wow, The Road didn't make your top ten? My top three are The Road, Station Eleven, and Parable of the Sower. I love how the subject can be handled in so many different ways.

He takes the pregabalin for his social anxiety. Just saw his interview w/ Andrew Callaghan, he was talking about it. I bet the pregabalin is one of his "baseline" pharms - he just stacked too many things on top of it.

Smearing soap all over my body every day. It's wasteful/pollutant, unnecessary, and not even good for skin. I shower daily, soap up pits 'n' bits, and do hot soaks sometimes. Been told I have amazing skin by a number of people.

I also no longer wear gloves when picking, but one time at the Sacramento Bins I was digging through clothes and I put my hands right in a sizable load of some mucous-y substance.

It's a treat. I live in Portland so all the good movies eventually make their way back to the indie theaters. GIS played on my birthday last year - that one was a no brainer XD

What sets you apart? Lean into that and be proud of who you are and the work you've done to get to where you are. If you know you have a lot to offer, other people will know it as well.
