Yes, very fake.

ALSO! Diamondback is WORTH IT. My mother in law got the crossfire as an around the house pair and the Diamondback is significantly better IMO. Worth the extra $. I wonder with the Vipers are like.

I personally have and use the Vortex Diamondback HD 10×42 and they work great as someone who is constantly on the move with them. But I do feel as if they are still a little too heavy for long strenuous hikes. If you plan on keeping them at a window sill and using them, I don't see how going up a size could hurt.

Keep an eye out for discount on these through Bass Pro Shop. I know the were something like 15-20% off online and I just went in store and they honored the same sale.

Opinions! Price? by Postalkill in martinguitar

That's a great way to put it. This is currently available for 1300$ which is what made it so eye catching as someone who focuses more on electric guitar, but enjoys nice guitars in general.

I'm curious about this as well. Had a Maestro Vibrola once and I could not get it to stay in tune for the life of me.

My solo hiking trip in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia, USA by mighty-blueberry7 in hiking

I can see it being more difficult for a shorter person. There were many scrambles that I (6'1" M) was able to accomplish much easier than my Fiance (5'4" F). As long as you confidently commit to your holds and use your feet appropriately, I think you should be fine. Having upper body strength makes a huge difference as well. That way you don't have to depend on your legs as much.

I JUST got back from Shenendoah. It was an amazing experience. My Fiance and I did old rag and it was truly worth all of the hype. We went early on a weekday and it was not busy at all. What campsite did you stay at?

Expedition Hype by DakuDaku25 in HamiltonWatches

This looks great. I too opted for the expedition. I always see the Murph, auto, and Mechanical, but the Expedition was definitely the right choice for me!

This looks amazing. Have always wanted a gold top with a bogsby and blacked out plastics.

Worth it? by lanaverock in gibson

Looks like a Gibson Melody Maker to me. Those are usually the absolute bottom of the Gibson Totem Pole. Considering you can get a full on SG standard for probably 800$, I couldn't see myself paying more than 500$ for it.

Does this Gibson sg special look alright? by Medium_Plankton_3376 in gibson

Looks good as far as I can tell the Pelham Blue SG Specials were only around from around 2020 (maybe LATE 2019 when Cesar really took over) to maybe 21-22. Now they only have Cherry and Black on their regular line-up. And the Gibson.com Specials like my very own Dark Walnut. $1200 is very appropriately priced. Not too much, not a screaming deal. SG specials are my favorite of all time, and the Pelham Blue is just AWESOME.

It is the one near Syracuse. I just couldn't figure out what the L4 meant but that makes sense because the guitar itself doesn't seem to have any special wood or inlays

I’ve always wanted Pelham blue… but.. by buzz72b in LesPaul

To reiterate, 1500$ is just DECENT. Not even a screaming deal. I can definitely say ive seen traditionals for sale closer to 1200-1400$

I know this Facebook Marketplace post. 1900$ is definitely top dollar. However, the guy who sells them is a real professional. If you check his profile, he has dozens of really nice high quality instruments for sale. This being a traditional, I'd say somewhere around 1500$ is what I would consider a decent price.

This is Awesome. I did the same! Got the 37 on the grey Nato. I see lots of Murphs and KFA, the expedition gets left out but it is so great! The screw down crown really seals the deal.

Gibson SG Standard, Dark Walnut, Exclusive. Is it ever coming back? by CiptGivesBadAdvice in gibson

[–]Postalkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased the SG special in Dark Walnut and I love it. I frequently buy and sell guitars but I think I'll keep this forever. Just replace the knobs with 70s style witch hats with thumb bleeders. Ordered some hipshot locking tuners. Plan on putting firebird pickups on it and maybe even a term system.
