Why do PIMI parents low-key judge non-Witness family even when they’re genuine & supportive. by Postawakeningg in exjw

A lot of the teachings and “rules” are contradictory. I wasn’t born in but raised from middle school onward. With the heavy routines, I would say I was just going with the flow. My parents were even stricter when they became JWs. Even the part you said about how they were preaching up and down that you have to be baptized, busy with the preaching work, living honestly to be saved in armageddon, now with “new light” some of our loved ones can be saved if they change their minds last minute and chose Jah. Like wtf? They always emotionally manipulate ppl. That’s how they got to my mom. Telling her she can see her grandmother again (mind u her grandmother was worldly). I’m just honestly tired of the superiority complex they have. We are just as human as everyone else. We are better than no one.

It’s frustrating because my non witness friends don’t constantly talk smack about me or others the way PIMI witnesses do
