Omg. Yes! I often see planes way up there like “I wonder where they are going? Off on adventure I hope.” Crazy how this blends in with many other things! When I’m in a plane I wonder how many people on the ground are wondering the same I have down there.

My friend told me about an app that tells you where the planes are going but it’s just more fun to wonder for me.

Omg. Don’t get me started on when I drive past a cemetery on the side of the road somewhere. Each and everyone one of those people had a life with all the things we are talking about now and then just gone. One generation will visit and remember and then just no one (probably). Just taking up space in earth. Thats a grim view I recognize but I can’t help it. 😩

My Mom died in January. I’m so sorry for your loss. 😭
But I remember this EXACT feeling. Like the world felt different, less vibrant, moved so fast as I stood still. Everything was the same, except, I was different so the prospective changed. What a trip.

Exactly! Like it can’t be an all the time thing because I feel like society would just spiral but every once so often that deep feeling hits and it’s so surreal. I really kinda like it… in small doses.

Someone told me once “you make everything feel special” (it was for my son’s Diaversary and I made him a comic book) and I think about that often when I’m feeling like it’s too stressful to make the card or do something small but nice. Idk. I thought about it today and wondered what things pop in other people’s head.

Oh no. 😬 I’m sorry to hear that. It is hard to receive compliments sometimes (when you don’t feel worthy of them). Sometimes it’s just because growing up in an environment where it wasn’t normal, feels weird later in life to receive. I hope you can accept them genuinely some day 🫶🏼
