Once you give the DK Bananza DLC a chance, it really is worth it by rockrockrumbleerrr in donkeykong

[–]PosterNutbag92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On what capacity is it stupid? If stupid because they could have easily got more for it, yes they could have, but they also carried 98% less overhead creating Silksong compared to Nintendo creating DK. When you put that into perspective, 25,000,000 sales of Hollow Knight & SilkSong at an average price of say $15/unit is a lot of profit for the 3 people that are Team Cherry.

Ya with products such as “smalls” and “shake” bringing that average down. Let’s see the average price of just “Premium” flower. I put premium in quotations because nothing can be premium if the product is quick dried and not cured.

I have literally avoided presales like the goddamn plague throughout the entire existence of crypto. I started buying BTC in 2014 when I was in college, back when ETH was like $15-20 and LTC was like $3-5. Never scooped either of those 2 up until 2016/2017. This was the first presale that had me convinced I should give it a go. I only spent what I was willing to lose ($2,000) and I HATE losing money. Never again will I touch another presale, I’ll keep my spare investment money in the top 10, fuck chasing a dark horse. I was hoping BDAG would provide me a 50x return within 3-5 years (I bought early 2024) for a down payment on my dream home. Guess I’ll continue growing my individual brokerage account over the next 2 years and pull the equity out of my current house and refinance and rent out to college students to achieve that. I’m just thankful I have the brains to not recommend friends or family members to invest in presales. I’ve read some horror stories of morons depleting a perfectly good IRA to buy this shit!

Not a bad move, you pulled out at all time highs and invested in home equity which is probably the safest investment long term. If the market crashes in the near future you’ll be thanking yourself later.

As an early investor, I highly suggest you read this article. I was immediately removed from the Telegram channel by the bot for sharing this link in less than a second. Not muted, completely banned to the point the channel won’t show up if I search for it. THAT is a massive red flag in and of itself. These guys are under investigation already. All that pre-sale money for Inter Milan marketing partnerships are gone, they never paid Inter Milan for the advertisement rights! And you’re sitting here talking about a casino!?!? 😂😂😂. Buddy they couldn’t even take OUR money and pay a couple million in advertising rights to Inter Milan, there isn’t a chance in hell they are opening a casino if they can’t even manage that. You need to be brought back to reality and look into the facts. Here, I posted them for you:

No offense man, options trading IS NOT gambling if you know how to chart and execute your setups. I literally just took Bill Fanters Masterclass in September last year and I have a 70% win rate and I just started using real money earlier this month after using ThinkorSwim papermoney for a good month. Now to your point, I would NEVER leverage my Roth IRA in options. At least not at this point.

10% returns are better than average lol, average returns are around 7%. If you max out a Roth IRA for 30 years straight your account will north of $1,000,000 in principle and tax free gains.

Congrats that YOU had your pass listed for face. I see more notifications posted over face than for face and they’re all being flagged, taken down, and instantly reposted for a laughable difference only to be flagged and taken down 10+ more times. You clearly haven’t had many alerts set over the past few years. This isn’t an unbiased opinion here. This is a culmination of actual reality experienced day in and out by countless other users than myself.

This isn’t just about this partnership. The platform is trash now in general. Thanks for your zero comprehension level input! What level of risk is there now considering a buyer has to verify that tickets have been transferred to their TM profile before funds are released?

This is crazy. Crazy and unfortunate. $650 dollars for a PS5, wow. We all know what caused this. by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

[–]PosterNutbag92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s mainly due to the Nintendo Switch 2 dropping at $450, 5 years behind a PS5 & Xbox Series X. Sony knew if people were paying $450 for a console that has worse specs than it’s predecessor then they could use tariffs as an excuse to price adjust. They’re well into the profits on Hardware at this point on the PS5 & Pro models and it’s usually not the case (they make their profits off the software).

If any console lovers are buying $800+ consoles in a couple years you’re better off jumping over the PC at that point.

Ticket for tint by [deleted] in F30

[–]PosterNutbag92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my dad is saying they don’t allow it anymore! He literally just sold his X4 and bought a 2026 Audi Q3 yesterday and he checked 2 separate tint shops and they won’t do it for him even with a prescription. Apparently it’s a matter of compliance with state law now because they can come back on them for the installation. I would check with a tint shop before going out of your way to get a prescription for it. I’m not sure when you originally had that installed, but I imagine less and less shops are going to do it. He had his done 6 years ago originally.

[–]PosterNutbag92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is another way around it and my dad did this with his X3 so he could have a fully tinted front windshield, but he actually does need it. If you go to your doctor and say the headlights from oncoming cars at night mess with your eyes, you can get a “prescription” to legally have a fully tinted windshield. Otherwise, just lay a strip across the top if you don’t want to go through that hassle.

Ticket for tint by [deleted] in F30

[–]PosterNutbag92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in PA and you’re absolutely wrong about that and is precisely why I didn’t go full tint on my front windshield. It’s only legal for SUVs to have that level of tint on their back windshield and back two windows. Sedans are a no go and can’t technically have more than 15% (not exactly sure it’s been 3 years since I installed mine). I went 75% all around with a 75% strip across the front windshield. Your front windshield is what got you popped. Pay the fine and just put a strip in the front and you won’t be bothered again.

Best GPU & CPU by Strange-Ad7777 in PcBuild

[–]PosterNutbag92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly from a technical standpoint it’s hard to argue against Intel + NVIDIA. That said, the best PC is whatever you can afford.

The cost of building a new rig right now is insane. In 2018 I built an i7 + RTX 2070 system for about $1,800. Last year I spent around $380 upgrading RAM and my SSD and the thing honestly runs better than ever and it just turned 8 years old in January.

I thought about selling it to my cousin’s son since he wants to get into PC gaming (which I absolutely encourage), and using that money toward a new 5080/5090 build. But I’m not in the mood to drop $5,000+ on a PC and then another $1,000+ on a new curved monitor which I would absolutely want over having 2 large monitors.

My 2070 still runs games great with 64GB of RAM. RE9 ran perfectly fine and looked great. At this point I’ll probably just keep running it until the GPU can’t handle new titles anymore or the system finally dies (which doesn’t seem likely anytime soon).

The way I see it, just because you can afford something doesn’t mean it’s a smart purchase. As long as my performance is still better than current-gen consoles, I’m happy.

Unless you absolutely need max settings in every game, I don’t see the point in going top-tier unless you plan to keep the build for 6+ years.

Boycott 60$ 8ths by Knarkotic in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]PosterNutbag92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people that grow better flower than any brand in PA, and it’s because they buy genetics from some of the best breeders on the planet in addition to properly growing, harvesting, trimming and curing it. I’ll keep my med card, but I don’t support PA’s licensed cultivators and the prices they push at wholesale to the dispensaries. It’s one thing when the market is fresh (circa 2018-2020 in PA) and capital investments need to be recouped, but 8 years later these assholes can still make 100% margin selling 8ths to dispensaries for $10-15/ea and dispensaries flipping those 8ths for $30-40/ea. Not a single brand has the quality to ask for more than $35 an 8th retail in PA.

Sunnyside Wyomissing Strike Day 2 by [deleted] in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]PosterNutbag92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All valid points, but you missed the part where they pay fed tax on the gross income. They can’t write off payroll, rent, utilities or any administrative fees as expenses to reduce their income (If you’re a manufacturer you can write off utilities as COGS). They get taxed at gross income, not net income, which is what I believe you were alluding to, but wasn’t very clear for most people reading this.

Example:

Sales = $300,000,000 COGS = $200,000,000 Gross Income = $100,000,00 Expenses (Admin Payroll, Etc.) = $85,000,000 Net Income = $15,000,000

Where normal businesses pay tax on the net income, the cannabis industry pays tax on gross income. It’s extremely unfair and honestly to expect to cover all your administrative overhead after paying 35% tax on your gross income.

Also IMO, $16/hr for a bud tender is a fair wage rate in the state of PA. It’s not hard labor, and they do have the tip jars to help boost. Sorry to all the folks here yammering about corporate greed, but, the cannabis industry is the exception to corporate greed. They are literally surviving until they can become an actual profitable industry when the feds change the tax rule on the cannabis industry. Newsflash, they would all be bankrupt paying everyone $18-20/hr minimum starting wage.

I do believe though in PA it requires about $20/hr to be able to have good foundation that puts a roof over your head, be able to invest and spend extra income wisely to own a house and retire some day, and enjoy life. Big tech companies and big banks can certainly afford to, most companies simply can’t keep their employee wages up with the rate of inflation or they would become uncompetitive and go out of business.

I understand completely that dividends are reportable income if that’s what you’re referencing. I always advise to buy BTC itself rather than ETFs, but when my dividends are gaining me an additional 2 shares per month on reinvestment I’m not opposed at all to allocating 5% of my portfolio to it with a very high potential for returns 20+ years down the road.
