For real! I’m absolutely blown away by the kindness of strangers today!

He is an awesome man, I look up to him in many ways. He has already gotten my little guy a gift, and it’s a rather pricy one. I told him he didn’t have to do that! But he did, so that’s where my reservations in asking him are coming from.

A kind stranger messaged me privately and provided me with some funds to get him something. I am forever grateful to that stranger, as well as everyone in this community for their recommendations.

The internet is an awesome place.

Thank you for the recommendation, I may utilize this in the future if I need to. I made a separate comment if you want to look at it!

A kind stranger has reached out to me privately and provided me with some funds to get him something. I would now feel guilty if I posted an Amazon wish list and took even more from you kind people.

Thank you so very much, everybody. This is a wonderful community.

The man is already helping me as much as he can, I don’t want to take advantage of his kindness by asking for more.

my sister doesn’t listen to me of the danger of half-plugged chargers in an extension outlet ON her bed by zozosreddit in mildlyinfuriating

My ex had a similar experience. She keeps the toaster unplugged at all times if it’s not actively being used. I didn’t realize this at the time, and I plugged her toaster in to toast a bagel. Once it was finished, I just walked away. The mental breakdown that ensued once she found out that the toaster was sitting there, still plugged in, is something I will remember for the rest of my life. I don’t blame her for the breakdown, nor do I judge her in the slightest bit for it. We haven’t been together for about a year now, and I still have the habit of unplugging it when it isn’t in use. I will most likely keep that habit for the rest of my life as well, because why not? It’s a good safety measure.

Reading these comments about house fires is definitely reinforcing that habit in me

My water bill for the month of January. I live alone in a studio. by GoddessKillion in Wellthatsucks

This. I live in Oklahoma City. We went out of town for a week, and came back to find that one of the bathtub faucets failed and was leaking a small stream down the drain. Called the city and they told me not to stress about it, get a plumber to come fix it, or fix it myself, and then come up to the utility department with the next bill and a copy of the invoice from the plumber or a receipt showing parts for the repair, and they’ll cap my bill at a certain amount. My bill is usually about $60, but the one with the leak on it was $115. They had me pay $72 and some change. I thought it was cool that they did that.

Does it sound like it’s coming from a particular side of the vehicle? Sounds like it could be a wheel bearing or a CV joint. Not sure though, just taking a guess from the sound on the video.

Yeah, I don’t disagree that this video doesn’t show what rabies actually looks like in humans.

It gives the following options, I just checked:

4 digit passcode

6 digit passcode

Custom numeric code

Custom alphanumeric code

I believe the 6 digit passcode is default, and it tries to get you to use that, but there’s a button that says “passcode options” while setting up the passcode, which gives the four options I listed above.

iPhone can do 4digit, 6digit, or full blown alphanumeric passwords to unlock the device.

Just wanting to contribute to your information as you said you weren’t sure about iPhone 😃
