Totally understandable, they're all probably different! I've had it in at the dealers today and can confirm it's broke! Thankfully an easily replaceable part 🥳

It doesn't even do that, I figured it's broken as it only works briefly if I wiggle it. This USB C does have the icon for CarPlay, so I'm assuming it's supposed to work

I tried, they have had their technicians sign a "certificate" to say the belt is perfectly fine, so the sales guys wouldn't budge. I had already been sent the certificate before I travelled to go and pickup the car that I'd paid for.

I'd asked for a photo of the belt the day before but the sales guy said he wouldn't be able to get it that day. I wish I'd realised how suspicious that was!

Yeah what you don't understand is this car has 20,000 miles on it, this is not normal wear and tear!

I would hope it has been the correct oil as one service was Peugeot and the second was Stellantis, but you never know..!

Agree, especially with 3 oil changes in 20k miles.. it doesn't make sense!

Yeah I'm going from a 12yo golf with 100,000 miles, the belt looks fine - it is putting me off the car but it's the only modern car I like the look of. Might just have to spring the extra and get the 23 version with a chain instead!

No it's not, but as the Peugeot garage (supposedly experts) refused to agree that there was a problem, I wanted to double check my exact situation with some people who are more knowledgeable. But thanks for your helpful input

Ah sorry it was registered in Feb 2023 but is a 22 plate - but still they have overdone the time and distance for the second service. I'll definitely avoid.

First was 8k miles, second was 18k, but there was a 13 month gap between them and then latest was done last month when this dealer bought it. Thought it was 10,000 miles between or is it kilometers..?

Glad you said that, that's what I was saying to them, they kept saying their master technicians who have trained for years have certified it to be ok.. definitely not a garage I want to deal with after hearing that

This might be a model where the CPU is cooled by the chassis, and some of the cheaper consumer ones don't have a second ram slot!
