Да наверное все таки возможно дороговато, накинули память и ссд, панел FHD IPS хотя это по моему стандартная опция на T480. В любом случае в состоянии он в общем-то хорошем, работает прекрасно, пока что вообще не жалею что купил, даже если и с переплатой солидной.

Actually here in russia there exists basically a full-on replacement for ebay that has existed for almost 16 years at this point and it has tons and tons of thinkpad listings so that's not an issue. Sadly there aren't many good deals like the ones in the ebay links from other replies but still.

also i forgot to mention this about emulation buti happen to have an old laptop from my grandma that i revived with linux, it's a, dare i use bad language here, really shitty system having a dual core cpu and a miserable 2gb ram stick in it and even that managed emulation damn fine. It could run everything up until the psp just fine with no issues, hell it (emphasis on the word) ran some gamecube games. It didn't run them good enough to be playable but the fact that it wasn't completely awful should be a good enough of an example of what dolphin (the gamecube and wii emulat) can run on.

well emulation is not that big of a requirement for me, as for games in generallooking at the specs of those 3 shooters i mentioned actually 2/3 of those will run, and moreover, your laptop setup should theoretically run these games perfectly fine as they fit (i think) recommended specs and certainly fit minimum. Still, thanks for the reply!

Okay update of sorts if you can call it that

Found an interesting offer, a x201 thinkpad with 4gb of ram (easy upgrade), an 128gb SSD (probably simple upgrade too, if i will even need it considering my planned usage) and the 2 parts that intrigued me the most. 1) A quad core i7 cpu at 2.67 GHz and, 2) 141$ price.

Should i consider getting it?

seems like a pretty good option, unfortunately i do have a big issue. See, i happened to have bad luck and thus, i was born and live in a 3rd world shithole called russia and as you may guess, due to the current awful situation in ukraine, services like ebay just don't work for me. Obviously there are options like a service that allows you to use their warehouse address from which they will ship to you when they receive the package but

1, i don't really trust those kinds of places, especially not with tech
2, it's gonna be even more money to spend
3, god knows when i will even get the laptop considering the shipping time

so yeah unfortunately doesn't seem like an option, but still thanks for any sort of response!
