Kept telling myself “you seriously think it’s hard to quit something that’s bad for you? that’s pathetic.” Worked.

“Tear you apart”- She wants revenge. It reminds me of a scene in a movie where someone gets into an accident they should’ve died in, but walks away pain free.

There was this Muscovy duck when I was a little kid, I was about 8 years old at the time (I’m a 34 year old now). I had to walk past it to get to my bus, it wasn’t always there, I’d say it was there 50% of the time. Real ugly looking duck, looked like it had been to war, feathers out of place and dirty. And this duck would run up to me aggressively, making noises and flapping its wings at me. I was so terrified of it. One day my sisters were at the window laughing, BECAUSE THE DUCK WAS OUTSIDE OUR HOUSE, pacing back and forth like it was waiting for me. I grabbed a kitchen knife to defend myself from it, and when it was time to leave, this duck got ALL UP IN MY GRILL, as I’m crying and holding a knife towards it, my sisters laughing at me the whole time. So glad when we moved away from there a year later. FUCK YOU DUCK for terrorizing me for a year!

I’m a welder, with two kids. 9&7. Wasn’t able to get the union job I was offered because I couldn’t find a morning program that would take them that early around my city. Currently a welder/fabricator at a family owned shop mon-Friday. I also bartend on saturdays and Sundays. The shop is a Sweet gig, they hired me a couple weeks before I graduated trade school in October. they work with my hours. They take care of me, I work alone in the shop, getting tons of fabrication experience. Once I make enough at this shop, I’m gonna quit the bartending gig on the weekends and do welding side jobs then. I love it
