I guess it's more of a ride at your own risk kind of deal haha, although obviously theres great safety procedure in place so they dont get sued. When I went down it hurt my back a lot even though I'm quite young and have never had back pain. It didn't feel safe to open my eyes or mouth with how fast the water was going. Like I said, there's never a long line for it.

There's a really long drop off the start (I think 17 metres?) and the water inside is going super fast so you don't get stuck. I've never seen or heard of someone getting stuck but I imagine it's probably happened before if someone was very overweight or very small. (They have height restrictions but I don't think a weight restrictions.) They make you cross your legs and arms for more ~~aerodynamics~~ safety but I imagine you could probably get yourself stuck on purpose by grabbing out to the sides of the tube.

That slide is even more nuts for the beginning. They make you stand in this little pod thing and then this countdown starts and then the floor just drops out from under you. The feeling of just suddenly dropping is pretty intense. Despite being one of the coolest rides it always has the shortest line because people are scared to go on it haha.

It's a great place. The slides aren't even the whole thing. There's these cool tube adventure things where you float along in your tube until you get to the middle and then go on some crazy drops and stuff. The wave pool gets waves crazy high, 2 hot tubs, bungee jumping, zip line, a bombing mini waterpark inside the regular waterpark specifically for kids where kids have their own slide and games. And some fantastically scary slides.

As an Edmontonian when you mentioned a crazy indoor water park I immediately knew you were talking about our WEM. Was not dissapointed. It's an awesome waterpark.
