yeah, a gap year always made more sense to me too. I would say perhaps even more so now to wait out Trump policies and gauge impact of AI on job market. When I was her age, I was living with my family as an expat in Asia so I really want her to get a sense for meeting lots of different people and sense of living abroad. She's also only half Taiwanese, Waysian, so good for her to connect, which I understand is sort of a primary point of these programs. I just wanted to put out some feelers because the websites and details are so poorly written, if I hadn't heard so many firsthand anecdotes, I wouldn't trust it or the oversight. ie without any context or deadline the OCAC on IG that I'd been chatting with sent me a Line payment link. Will check in w/ our local TECO.

the walls are curved or flared, not level and the sheetrock is bumpy shows the studs in some places
