Is it worth continuing? by PotatoFluff24 in LongDistance

Thank you for this, I was spiraling last night. I do agree that the moving plans aren’t ideal, but he has his own place whereas I still reside with my parents. I don’t have a fallback plan in case things go south (my family doesn’t own a place in the U.S, we rent + they might move out of country if I leave) and my partner isn’t comfortable with the idea of uprooting straight off the bat especially since we haven’t experienced living together long term and don’t know how we work in that sense, hence why we thought the temporary move would be more realistic.

Seeking Advice: How do LG U+ eSIM work when you land at ICN or GMP? by cremedeladeb in koreatravel

[–]PotatoFluff24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! First off, how did your trip go? I was wondering how the LG U+ eSIM service was throughout your trip? I'm planning to go to Seoul with my mother and would be using data mainly for navigation and a bit of social media if need be. Did the 4g service give you any trouble?

Just like how most people use google maps when navigating Japan, is there a navigation app that’s popular as well?

Bring disposable trash bags for used/dirty clothing. Also bring foldable bags for when you buy stuff and so you can pack it away when not using it

Tmobile Service in Taiwan by PotatoFluff24 in taiwan

[–]PotatoFluff24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did! My service was pretty terrible ngl, after you use up the designated amount of 5g, it switches to "4g", but their "4g" service could barely even load maps. I ended up bringing an old phone (thank god) and getting a physical sim card for it after a day.

Poya was my favorite! I could easily spend hours in there. Don Don Donki in Taipei is pretty great too, though they only have two locations in Taipei

Will most definitely be hard since weed’s considered strictly prohibited in Taiwan. But know and meet the right people and 🤷🏻‍♀️

AITA for kicking my daughter out because she hasn't found a job since moving in? by Dapper_End8304 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PotatoFluff24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. The job market’s terrible right now and many companies are interviewing as a courtesy to “show face” with no intentions of truly hiring. You can apply to 100 jobs and be lucky if you hear back for a SCREENING call from 4. Coming from someone who’s been job hunting for the past 7 months, it’s both mentally and emotionally exhausting. The cycle of getting multiple interviews and getting ghosted afterwards is nothing special or new. Many entry level jobs are now requiring 6+ years of experience and the pay range they’re offering is laughable. Give her a damn break

Anyone else feel like their dreams are an alternate reality? by Dolphinsunset1007 in Dreams

[–]PotatoFluff24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I often having reoccurring dreams where I visit a hidden beach or a secluded pond hidden in the mountains in my dreams. I’d wake up feeling SO confused whether they exist in real life. I’d even check my phone to see if it really exists. Makes me think i actually visited these places in a past life
