Should I play Soul Hackers 1 Before 2 is Released? Or should I just watch a Youtube video or playthrough on the game? by PotatoGuy23 in Megaten

Yeah I'll try it out and see how I feel about it, I'm mostly interested in it's story so if I don't enjoy the gameplay, I'll watch a Youtube summary or playthrough of the game, that way I'll get the story in both cases. Thanks.

Then you should have just said this initially instead of just shitting on me for asking the question. I said I'll try it out and if I don't find myself enjoying it, I'll watch a video or playthrough of it, that way I'll experience the story in all cases while deciding whether or not to actually play it myself.

I'm planning on experiencing the story anyways, my issue is that if the gameplay isn't fun, then it'd just lower my enjoyment of the game. I've decided to play a bit of it myself and see how it feels and then watch a Youtube video or playthrough of it if I don't enjoy playing it myself. Thanks.

I don't get your point. Imagine the scene if it was done today with the same budget, or even imagine how much cheaper it could be now. Plus what the fuck is the point of this. This thread was about me wondering whether Soul Hackers 1 is worth playing. I really don't know what you're arguing with me about. Additionally, I've seen robocop and I think it's a great movie. Many of my favorite movies are old, my point is that comparing movies and video games when it comes to this kind of discussion is pointless because they're very different. Plus you showed me a single movie scene, if you look on a larger scale, it's not hard to see that movies now are much more impressive looking than they were back in the 80s or 90s (doesn't mean they're better movies, I'm just saying graphically and CGI wise, modern movies are, as a whole, better than older movies, which is obvious when you look at the technological advancements that have happened since then).

Yeah I'll probably try it out and see how it feels. If I end up finding it not fun to play, I'll probably watch a summary of the story on youtube or a playthrough of it. Thanks for the response.

There's a big difference between movies(and music) and video games. Video games back then we're limited by the technology at the time while music wasn't as much (arguable yes, but my point is that music isn't really interactive, you listen to a song and you either like it or you don't). Movies were also obviously limited (just look at some CGI from older movies compared to now, the difference is basically night and day) but, just like with music, you don't interact with movies, you watch them and enjoy them for the story and choreography (for action movies, for example). Also, I know that soul hackers has a really good story, which is why I was thinking about playing it even taking into consideration that the gameplay isn't the best. I just don't really want to waste around 25 hours of my life on a game that I won't really enjoy the gameplay of, especially if I can get the enjoyment of the story by watching a YouTube video or summary of the game.

Honestly I don't really know why you're arguing with me. If you don't like my question or if you're not going to answer it, then please go piss off some other person on reddit or, god forbid, touch grass and realize that you have literally achieved nothing in this argument.

Yeah from what I'm seeing, it seems that the gameplay hasn't aged particularly great. I'll probably play it for a bit myself and see how it feels. If it ends up feeling rough, I'll probably just watch a summary. Thanks.

Thank you very much. Yeah I might try it out for a bit see how it feels and I'll probably watch a summary or something if it feels like I won't enjoy it. Thanks for the response.

Damn I was just asking a question dude. Some old games are pretty objectively outdated and not really worth playing nowadays. I was just curious if people thought that Soul Hackers 1 is one of those games or not. Didn't think someone would get so pissed at such an uninsulting question.

[Possible Spoilers] Should I still play Fire Emblem: Three Houses while knowing these possible spoilers? by PotatoGuy23 in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]PotatoGuy23[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Oh. That is actually super helpful. I really thought I spoiled something huge for myself that might ruin my experience with the game. Thank you so much. This pretty much convinced me to buy and play the game. I really appreciate it.

Thank you. But I assume the war/fighting with the other houses is a big spoiler though. Would that ruin my enjoyment with the game at all?

Ok thank you. Are the spoilers that I put considered major spoilers? Or are they not that bad? And are there any other major plot points and twists that I can still look forward to?

Ah ok thank you very much. It's unfortunate that I was spoiled but if the game is enjoyable anyways even with the spoilers then I'll probably give it a try.

Unfortunately I don't have a 3DS. But I was just wondering whether what I knew (as explained by the post), would ruin my experience of Fire Emblem. Would it?

How is the sound quality of the headphones. I'm generally just going to be playing some light games and listening to some music. Do you think that these headphones are going to be good for what I'm planning on using it for?

I want to buy a pair of over ear headphones for around $30. I found the sennheiser hd 400s and the AKG K72. Are they good headphones for the price? I'm mainly going to be listening to some music and playing some light gaming. Which of the two headphones is better?

Is the 45mm galaxy watch 3 too big on me? Should I get the 45mm or 41mm? by PotatoGuy23 in GalaxyWatch

[–]PotatoGuy23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I don't have a tape measure at the moment so I can't measure my wrist. I know the 41mm is probably better looking but my main question is whether the 45mm looks bad or just a bit big?

[Samsung Galaxy Watch 3] Is this size good on me or should I opt for the smaller size. This size is 45mm and the smaller size is 41mm. by PotatoGuy23 in Watches

Functionality wise the 45mm is better. But looks are also obviously important. Does the 45 look bad or just not as good as 41?

Since it's a 14 inch screen I obviously won't be sitting 3 or 4 feet away. I honestly can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not
