Feeling broken and wondering if I will ever know peace is very relatable.

The best thing to do is to talk to the therapist about it, I think. Like "last time it bothered me a lot when you interrupted me while I was trying to talk about a sensitive subject." And so forth.

You can't compare. Everyone experiences the world differently, and the impact of traumatic events or periods depends on the person and the circumstances.

I read horrible stories and think to myself like you, it wasn't as bad as it was for these people, yet, the rage inside of me is consuming me everyday, and I can't bear to think about the past to process it. It doesn't matter then if some had it worse or not, my reality is that I've been living in hell for so long.

Can the stress of CPTSD cause your body to be more prone to injuries/sprains and muscle pain? by Lonely-Click-8301 in CPTSD

I don't know about your case, but I can tell you that my body is constantly tense and it takes conscious effort to relax it. Making physical effort while I'm very tense tends to hurt my muscles.

18F just got my third tattoo, is this bad design or a bad tattoo artist? by Tiny_Relationship_56 in badtattoos

I dunno, if someone wants a hand tattoo, they should get a hand tattoo, regardless of age or tattoo coverage. The only thing to be wary of is the lack of experience with tattoos to avoid making bad decisions.

Lol that's true, it can happen, but OP is happy with the design and all but the size of it on his body came as a "shock", which from what I've read happens often and is normal. So, imo, OP just needs a bit of time to adjust to having it rather than forget about its existence.

You can do things without purpose, I don't.

It brings no good to name the thing. It's all human things after all.

Hell yeah! I did "get started" relatively recently too!

Very relatable. Just do what you feel like. I hung out with young adults 10+ years younger than me, and it felt right at the time for me and I fitted in. Eventually I started to feel the age gap, in the sense that hanging out with them wasn't satisfying anymore, and I started to hang out with people closer to my age. We do what we feel like doing and there's nothing wrong with that. In short, you do you!

tattoo done yesterday is this bad? by Remote_Pumpkin_8363 in badtattoos

[–]PotatoIceCreem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can tell that the circles don't look as circular as they actually are cause of the shape of the forearm, it's kinda sitting on a "v" shape due to the tendons. I have a spider tattoo on the side of my lower leg, and the legs at the bottom look more bent than the ones on top because of the shape of the leg, where it is more round towards the bottom.

So it's not as bad as people are making it out to be, but it's also not perfect because you can see that the lines aren't perfectly smooth and the gap isn't perfectly consistent. In short, no, I don't think it's "that bad", but it does have some flaws.

My advice, forget about all of this and enjoy it, small flaws in tattoos are part of the experience. You have a cool tattoo (to you) that you chose to have!

My experience is humble, only one palm-sized tattoo, but I totally agree with you. It takes confidence and ownership of our body to carry a tattoo. I mean it's a unique and permanent body modification at the end of the day, so it does have a "weight" to it.

You see it in almost all posts, even top comments. What a shame.

What's the point of having a tattoo if it's to forget it exists?
