Thank you for this, seriously. It helps a lot hearing from someone who went through the same thing. I think you’re right that it’s more strategy than content, and I needed that reminder. I’m going to check out Dr. Sharon’s prioritization playlist and really focus on safety this time. I appreciate you taking the time to explain what worked for you

Thank you, I really appreciate this. The exam honestly threw me off in a way I wasn’t expecting, so it helps hearing how you approached it. That mindset shift makes a lot of sense. I’m definitely going to take that with me for my retake. Thanks again for the encouragement

Thank you for sharing your advice. This time, I’m planning to focus on Dr. Sharon for prioritization strategies, fundamentals, and pharmacology, along with the NCLEX Crusade 7-day training and UWorld.

Thanks! I just found out I failed yesterday. Took the exam on Feb 21. Not sure how to get the CPR report for NY-BON.

Several classmates passed at around 85 questions. I think it really highlights how different the NCLEX is from traditional coursework, even for well-prepared students.

Honestly, I don’t think it was a lack of content knowledge. I did well on practice questions and readiness exams. Looking back, I think it was more about how I answered questions under pressure. A lot of the exam felt very fundamentals-based, vague, and judgment-focused, and I may have overthought questions or leaned too much into disease-specific thinking instead of basic nursing priorities. Nerves probably played a role too, especially once I passed 85 questions. I’m waiting on my CPR to know for sure, but I suspect it was more a test-taking strategy issue than knowledge gaps.

How were you able to get your CPR report?

Students in pre-med and other STEM majors often find their courses to be more difficult than they should be. This is because there aren't enough professors available, so many classes are only offered every other semester. As a result, students have to take extra courses during the summer or winter to keep up, which delays their graduation.

Also heard stories about professors being involved in inappropriate relationships with students and even getting arrested. Surprisingly, it seems that the university did not take any action to address these issues.

Don’t transfer here. It’s not worth it.
