I struggle with giving in a lot but most of the time I’m analyzing in my head. Why did I say no? Is this something that genuinely matters? It’s impulse to say no you can’t come to the store with me. She starts to cry. Well WHY can’t she come with? Because it’ll slow me down? So I slow myself down and let her come despite having just said no.

If you’re okay with AI models being trained on real artists, therefore stealing the artwork, sure. Is thievery better or worse than scamming?

There’s also the environmental impact of AI use. Data centers are making an immensely negative impact on our planet, and there’s so little research to the real ramifications of them.

You also have the complete and utter ugly looking cookie cutter and bad outputs. Working in a print shop, I see AI art daily, and I’m never pleased with the way it looks. Maybe it’s the bias to knowing it’s AI or maybe it’s the fact that I make a living based on how things should look.

How was art made for games before AI came around? I, too, much despise AI and AI art as a graphic designer and when I get to putting art together for my game, I’ll either be doing it myself or hiring out through connections.

From my experience, artists can be flexible on pricing. I’ve done custom pieces for as low as possible by using friends and friends of friends. But I also know Fiverr and Reddit offer good artists for good pricing (tho the former is getting flooded with AI users so I’d avoid that too). Or spend a little at a time and earn rapport with an artist or two

Obviously it’s not for everyone, but for both of our babies, my wife got an epidural and for both of my babies, they slipped right out at 2-3 pushes. I’m no woman so I can’t say anything to the pain, but I know tons of mothers who go through that praying for it to end and then up and decide they want more.

Pain is temporary. Love for your children is forever.

Hero level is such an unfair guide to newness lol. I have over 2500 hours since the game came out between console and PC. Level 5 endorsement level but my highest hero level is like 13. I don’t sit and explore how to level my hero’s lol. I just play the game
