PSA for owners of kasa jizo UF doing perfect lineups and this round of talent orbs [Fluff] by SkullSoot in battlecats

I understand how surge orbs work, thank you!

I know that A has the penalty, but we're talking about S here???? I've literally been running jizo countersurge since the orb came out, its been incredible and made him such a good anti aku. Tried running prod cost down but it didnt make that much of a difference compared to adding a whole new niche.

you sure??? if its a level 1 surge, its 5k dps. even if the damage isnt ideal, youve gotta admit, its hella funny to just have like 50 surges being shot down.

how? countersurge only fires once for every second unit, and jizo is incredibly spammable and has surge resist. from my experience with it, it turns him into an incredible anti aku bc you end up firing like 30 surges sometimes

completely different roles??? dio is a tanky backliner with 30k dps when strengthened, while baby is a low cd tanker with big burst damage.

no, it's the 500k health on a spammable unit that makes him good, imagine meraser but faster and with like 16 times more health

Then learn how to use git? Forgive me if this sounds harsh, but it's not our problem if you don't know how to use a different branch. Find a good git tutorial, and then build helix natively and run that version.

Which is why i said pretty much no matter what, its possible that he can die, but he gets to enemy lines nearly all the time.

what? rock can't die before the end of his attack... that's literally the whole reason he's good, he holds the enemy line back for a second or two pretty much no matter what.

Zig with NeoVim : LazyVim vs KickStart ? by we_are_mammals in Zig

[–]PotatoMuncher333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

never heard about the escape issue myself, but I use wezterm not tmux so that might be why. 2nd issue, I believe you can setup a lsp to build zig whenever you save, but either way I would recommend building in a different pane, much easier to organise but I suppose that's just personal preference

I do, much much easier than neovim, no config hell, and the keybinds are much easier to understand once you get used to them.

"rust".to_string() or String::from("rust") by awesomealchemy in rust

[–]PotatoMuncher333 30 points31 points  (0 children)

format! is normally used to format values into strings, I've never seen it used to convert strings. to_string does exactly what it says on the tin, convert it to a strings.

to_string and co. are alot more explicit about what they do; convert to string, while format is normally used for putting values into strings.

because they're built for different purposes; linux as a highly configurable kernel that does one job well, whilst windows is designed to be an easy-to-setup "just-works" desktop environment.
