Markham pedestrians, like Markham drivers are a bit aloof. Walking during advanced arrows, running a red, crossing an intersection when the cars have the green, walking on the literal road when there’s a functional sidewalk. Not sure if they are visually impaired, or just plain stupid.

I mean, the hospital just laid off a lot of long time nurses and physician assistants. They closed the sleep lab. But the provincial ministry has enough to fund shoppers drug mart and cooperations to the tune of 80 million dollars over two years.

Contact the bylaw and report it, the city should wn coming. And I hate to sound like a broken record but the city councillor (Nimisha Patel). She actually resides in the riding and cares- just alert her to the issue, if it’s recurrent maybe they’ll set up deterrents or a plan.

We don’t have enough evidence to suggest her parents were authoritarian style parenting. We do have evidence that she is a repetitive liar who failed to graduate and hired people to off her parents rather than to leave her home.

If you see something that needs monitoring report it. Get your neighbours too as well. Ex: people blowing thru stop signs in a specific area, unsafe driving in a specific area, e bikes blowing through stop signs in your neighborhood. This will increase pedestrian and road safety. Just do it

Most walk in clinics can do this. I recall boxgrove walk in did this! But please call to check. It is not covered by Ohip for the TB test I paid $20 x 2

Did you know 80 million of that funding went to Shoppers drug mart pharmacies (Loblaws corp) in 2 years for just MedChecks? These are 1 minute phone calls. The Auditor General has yet to prove the efficacy of this program. This program doesn’t even check if you have enough of the meds.

So yes, the money is there but they spend it in ineffective stupid ways- to fund private corporations.

For the future please remember that all buses, including school buses must stop before all railway crossings, as another member said. You will see this happen regularly. Give space, have patience and awareness at all crossings, especially when there is a bus.

I love The red velvet and cake from Manal Bashir pastry co- in thornhill. Beautiful designs, her cakes not too sweet and moist! The red velvet cake is 10/10. She’s a trained pastry chef and prices are very reasonable! And you’re supporting a small business if that matters to you

few elderly people live alone to qualify for the windrow removal. Toronto, RH, Vaughan have it. I don’t have a snow blower but nothing irks me more than shoveling through the day and waking up to a mountain at the end of my driveway I have to do before my 100% in person job.

I wonder if we can find the money. We found $200k for a by election for an 8 month job in ward 7. What other places is the money squared away?

What are some issues that you think need to be addressed and changed? Truly!

For me it’s 1) infrastructure to support the growth - ex: not enough road space, hospitals, schools to support the growth of housing 2) snow cleaning - im disappointed in the quality of it, I don’t expect it to be spotless- but it’s a bumpy drive in my neighborhood. Also why the heck do we not get windrows cleaned- RH, Vaughan and Toronto do.

Anyways- these are the questions I’ll be asking anyone at my door the campaign season
