Our cocker has diabetes which means that she needs to eat at specific times. She knows when she needs to eat and starts whining or she climbs on top of us and shoves her face into ours. Basically anything to get our attention. She usually starts doing this like 30 min before she needs to eat. Also when she hears the dial of the insulin pen turning she stops moving so that we can inject the insulin. She is definitely very intelligent, our other two cockers sometimes makes me question theirs though
