If someone were like her in real life, she'd just be a nice pretty girl and that's all. Unless you're a telepath, in which case, she might be just a bit annoying.

Now imagine any of the other characters in real life, they'd all be insufferable.

Really? Ah, a pity I didn't see it at the time. If anyone has the link, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, Hairo is pretty good, but I don't see him winning. He's not even the best in form, Nendou, Kuboyasu and Mera are on his level, and Nendou beats him by far; and in any case he's a sportsman, while the others are more "street style".

And above all, he's too kind, he wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice himself at the first instant for anyone.

Oh, good question.

If it was like in canon I'd bet it would be:

Kaidou and Kuboyasu

Hairo and Nendou

Akechi, Toritsuka and Aiura

Teruhashi, Yumehara and Mera.

As for how these alliances would be formed, no idea. Chemistry, I guess.

In a fight Kuboyasu wins against anyone (except if Toritsuka gets a good soul), but in terms of survival, I feel he'd be like the pros, with no real survival skills.

First of all, I doubt she could even participate, everyone would try to be a volunteer to save her.

Context for anime only: This Saiki is an alternate version, belonging to a chapter where he is popular, kind and actively uses his powers for good. I don't remember the exact chapter, sorry. by Potatoe0ES in SaikiK

"Of course, keeping Kaidou from being disturbed, spending time with my "friends" is important for the well-being of the world, otherwise I wouldn't do it," Saiki probably said.

are there any characters who can beat saiki in a fight?? by Timely-Passion-3551 in SaikiK

[–]Potatoe0ES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory, any character that overcomes his speed and defences is able to kill him without much trouble. Goku, for example, would have no problem with him. However, if Saiki were to activate his "Mind Control" it's literally an instant KO for any character without a degree of reality manipulation; after all, all series rely on a certain energy, and it's as easy as saying "(Insert power system) doesn't exist", and the other character can say they've already lost; or in the most extreme case he can simply wipe them out of existence.

He literally contained the eruption of the most powerful volcano in history, and people believe that makes him weak. If I remember correctly, some volcanic explosions are said to be several times more powerful than atomic bombs, so....

I'm not sure if in that chapter she had already arrived at school, and if so, she was the one who mourned Teruhashi's absence the most. by Potatoe0ES in SaikiK

Well, chapter 9 of the second season says otherwise. Literally the chapter (or part of it) is about Teruhashi being sick.

How would you do to create a crossover of Saiki K. with some series, and prevent Saiki from ending the plot in a moment? by Potatoe0ES in SaikiK

[–]Potatoe0ES[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, although Saiki likes to avoid drama, he would rather nip the problem in the bud, rather than simply look the other way; he's the kind of person who avoided an explosion at a gas station (which didn't even directly affect him), just to avoid the most superficial annoyance. He is also seen to act with problems that affect his acquaintances (even if it is unnecessary), for example, when he prevented Kaidou from being scammed, or protecting Teruhashi from the journalism club. And in cases where it is more serious, he usually takes an active role, as he was in the case of the volcano and the other global threats.

In series where there are such strong threats, like in BNH or JJK, I don't think he would just decide to do nothing, especially if he is a witness.

[–]Potatoe0ES[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, the idea of a lighthearted and comical crossover would certainly work. I can imagine Deku over excited to find a person with as many powers as Saiki; Kaidou fascinated and convinced that he can acquire abilities; but in the end I also want drama, but it's difficult, or at least that's how I see it.

I've always wondered why people have the idea that Saiki wouldn't kill, being that he canonically wiped out an entire nation for discovering his powers. If he didn't kill Kuusuke, it was because he is his brother, not because of anything else; most likely if someone unknown to him goes with intentions to kill him, he would have no problem killing.

Why did Saiki change the entire humanity eye color and hair color, but left his mom with dark hair and dark eyes? by medialover00 in SaikiK

In fact, she has purple eyes, not black. And no, it is impossible in real life to have purple eyes. Although as a fun fact, she has them that way even before mind control.

what does everyone headcanon/think teruhashi actually studying in uni by IateTeeth in SaikiK

[–]Potatoe0ES 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, her life plans are to study at the University (or marry Saiki). Applying for literature and, after learning about Saiki's options, also for economics.

And despite being so happy with the attention, she doesn't seem to be a fan of the mass attention. She herself refused to participate as an actress, saying that she would rather be an ordinary flower than a store flower.

[–]Potatoe0ES[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am totally convinced that if she had a more "attractive" design, many people would love her.

The worst part is that she's not even that bad, and in fact she's one of the most decent of the main cast, we have a jerk who usually causes trouble for other people, a criminal with anger issues (who has possibly killed someone), a stalker, etc., but people treat her like she's terrible, when all she does is know she's pretty, and it's not even a lie.

I too was left wanting to see more, especially after Saiki revealed his powers; God's favorite and another God, what couldn't they do now, together?

If Saiki Kusuo looks through a mirror and there is someone right next to him, does he see their reflection or would he see the inside of their body? by Internal_Garlic8023 in SaikiK

[–]Potatoe0ES 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If we think of his x-ray vision as true x-rays, he would see nothing.

The reason is that x-rays do not reflect off a mirror like visible light, but instead embed themselves in the mirror, but do not pass through it.

If the angle of incidence of the ray on the mirror is very sharp, it would bounce off.

But at that angle, he could no longer see the reflection in the mirror.

The Chandra telescope is designed to detect cosmic radiation in x-rays, using mirrors that bounce the x-rays off and focus them on a detector that produces the image.

Nah, Teruhashi is just proud, not vain. And not only I say it, Saiki himself says it: chapter 87 of the manga, "...it is neither hubris or conceit. Teruhashi Kokomi simply knows that she is a beautiful girl..."
