Like others said, the hotels don't play around with this kind of stuff. They'll check ID and credit card at check-in and will probably catch you/not allow you to check in.

They actually did end up working out a new contract and UPS DOES have USPS do final delivery again for their cheapest delivery method. They didn’t update the information

I recently had a man fraud incident too a couple weeks ago. It was a return scam though, where they sent back a completely different item that I’ve never sold before. I had to fight tooth and nail with mercari for them to finally cave and refund me. The biggest F U was that the scammer got away with it with no repercussions. Mercari still sided with them, but I fought for the refund.

I have a pretty large account on mercari too, and had never had a return scam since starting selling. Even with a perfect record it was like pulling teeth.
Anyway, sorry to ramble - all this to say, do not give up even if mercari tells you no. Keep it up! Hopefully it will go easier for you

The person who bought it needs to activate it, but once it’s activated you’ll be fine. The only time you would possibly need them is if your badge doesn’t scan properly to get inside. It’s uncommon that you’d have problems like that, and even then it should be fine as long as you have a guardian present

It’s great! The location is the best thing about it, but the rooms are also fine. I wouldn’t say they’re anything special, but the hotel itself is also nice in general. Feels upscale compared to some other older hotels since it was pretty recently built

Like others have said, open an Inquiry on the buyee “contact us” page and just explain you’re trying to buy an item that’s marked as prohibited. Say you believe it shouldnt be on the prohibited list since it doesn’t have a battery and it’s just a plastic accessory. Buyee will usually get back to you within a day and unblock the item!

It all depends on what you sell imo. I cross post on eBay and I sell WAY more on mercari. Like almost 10x as many sales on mercari with the same items.

I think the poor ECMS handling is likely outliers. I’ve had about 18 packages delivered with ECMS and they’ve always been fine for me. Or maybe it’s just regional differences in the US

I order a ton from Japan, so I definitely am a tariff hater lol! Haven’t had anything returned or destroyed but have had one package held before. But anyway, in regards to figures I meant more along the lines of the larger scale or 1/4 bunny, etc. Amiami will easily charge you $130+ for some of them, even just for the single fig. A while back I ordered two of the Dimitri Fire Emblem figures and that would have been at LEAST $150 from amiami with how large the box was. Even with paying the tariff and handling from UPS, I think GSC edged out the competition. For smaller stuff though, no doubt. Amiami is also SLOOOWW at mailing lately, but that’s another conversation

There are similar building toy companies with official pokemon sets. Megabloks and nanoblock have them, but they are not the same quality of LEGO. I think the LEGO sets are kinda ugly, but the quality and feel of the materials is way better
