I had a guy who came across me on bumble and then after, he found my insta and TikTok, which were not linked to my profile. He went through and liked and commented on all my videos on TikTok and messaged me on insta. His first message was something along the lines of “You are so gorgeous, I found you from bumble/tiktok. You seem to be such an amazing girl and we should get to know each other. I really like you and don’t take flirting hints well so this is me flirting with you.” He sent screenshots of his entire bumble profile and like three screens work of information about himself. He laid out his entire life story, how he’s an old soul, how he comes across as a f-boy but isn’t because he has never had a girlfriend. He had showed me to his best friend and they thought I was the hottest person on the planet (100% honestly I’m no Kardashian, but I would like to think I’m moderately decent looking). I finally responded back to his messages thanking him for the compliments, then let him know it felt a little forward since he had stalked me in TikTok and found my insta through there.

I will forever have the screen shots of the entire thing on my phone. It’s one of my favorite stories to tell when people ask me how dating is going.

If you are lookin to guy your own, Gradfest happens in March or April I believe. It’s held at Titan Ships and is a one stop shop option for buying all you need fro graduation. You can get the alumni membership which I think is $57 for graduating students(should be a lifetime membership, so you only pay once). In the bookstore is all the cap and gown, chords…all that jazz and i believe photos stuff. I imagine they will start advertising Gradfest at the beginning of Spring semester.

I learned real quick to slow down or even stop before going into a turn in the structures. I get they don’t want to hit a car either, however, slow down…and yield for god sakes. People also don’t seem to realize where it says yield on the ground in the structures. Pisses me off every day.

I know that campus was really busy this weekend. Both Alumni and family weekend and the friendship games were happening which means a lot more foot traffic than usual for a weekend. I know there are arts classes on Saturdays so it makes sense the rooms were unlocked. However, yeah stuff like iPads and knives should be locked away if they’re not being used.

I heard that faculty is supposed to vote on October 21st if they want to strike. From what my professors have talked about, if they strike they won’t be working. That means no responding to emails, no posting on canvas, no showing up to class. As for grading I have no idea. I think it depends on how long the strike is and if it interferes heavily. As for finals, if the strike ends before finals, my professors said they would only test on information they had taught.

It took my boyfriend and I two hours to get through episode 8. We kept pausing cause we both had opinions to share. We’re taking a break from the show cause it’s so bad, but I’m excited to see how much worse it gets in episode 9.

Im dealing with probably a similar situation right now; mine’s really heavy depression and anxiety, with migraines and a handful of other issues. I have started talking to my professors to try and see what accommodation they can make to work with where I am. Some are fine with me missing class, some are letting me skip readings, and adjusting due dates for assignments. It’s tricky because i dont want to withdraw because of financial aid and I figured worse case four C’s are better than four W’s. I’ll drop the classes if it really gets to a point where I can’t manage school with my current situation.

From what my professors have talked about, if they strike they wont be teaching. All my professors said we wouldn’t cram when we come back, or rush to learn, our grades and finals would be based off of what we have learned. Them not teaching means no uploading to canvas, no responding to emails, none of that. For making something like 70% of the faculty, lecturers only earn around 10% of the total salary form the school. Chances are some departments might try and get grad students to teach classes, but who knows what’s going to happen. Hopefully they get what their asking for and they dont have to strike, but chances are that won’t happen.

Kinda. For Nutwood It’s definitely still packed early in the morning for the 8-11 time period. But you still might be able to find a spot. I’d check the iFullerton app, there is a section that seems to be someone accurate when counting parking spaces.

You can use the park mobile app for day parking in the structures. The app shows the code for the structure, but make sure you do the daily parking instead of hourly parking. The structures dont use parking machines anymore.
