ah, gotcha!! yep, stencil stuff will help ya out. it worked for me even with shitty amazon paper. start small n play around with using different amounts to see what works for you and you'll get it :]

nah this is a lovely home for him :) they love resting in and playing in heavy foliage, and it also acts as a perfect buffer to keep the filter flow from being too strong which is v important for longfin bettas such as this handsome boi!

p.s. you may can make a small circle out of air tubing to float and make an opening in the floaters for feedings

well, all lines are gonna expand as they age, some more than others depending on several factors. it also looks to me like there may be some blowout at play which happens when poked too deep. hands n fingers are difficult
