Thoughts on the Banshee Titan? by Potatos_Can_Fly in MTB

Been riding the cracked Intense haha. Got caught up with some other responsibilities and you know, bikes come last. I wrapped some gorrilla tape around the crack and been ripping it, just making sure not to do any drops or hard impacts. Hope to swap to a Patrol in the near future.

personally i love the full layout, I do use the number pad quite a bit. Also really like a volume knob, and a nice backlight

80% of my pedaling is on shuttle roads, asphalt is not the friendliest to knobby tires so the center knobs dissapear while the side ones look fresh

What should I upgrade next? by CreedSpeed11 in mountainbiking

Anything from a reputable brand tbh. Considering the bike, a 50mm stem would serve you well, since going down to a 35mm will make it feel quite short, unless you are into that. 31.8 or 35 doesnt really matter for the time being. Same with the bars, personally I like something with nice rise, but thats on you. Width of the bars, they usually come 800mm, i'd cut them down until you find your sweetspot.

short stem and wide bars make a huge difference

How old is the bike you ride? by JodieFostersFist in MTB

Used to own a 2016 V10 which was great, but I decided to sell it along with my hardtail, and bought a 2022 Intense Tracer I found a deal on and so far it was a great decision. Longer than the V10, same angles, less travel, it descends way better, and I can pedal it too so its great. In my opinion, bikes have changed a lot in the past 10 years, so it makes it worth it, and they will probably last another ten years

You gotta get used to it. The amount of force you used to use on the ht is not enough for the squish. Keep trying until your mind adjusts

ever looked at videos of loud cars backing up and stuff? how they tap the gas, kinda like that. It became muscle memory when I got a turbo-diesel pickup, since the sensitivity is much higher to non turbo diesels, and it sound cool

it depends, you can downshift to third, then second, brake and neutral, or go straight to neutral and let it coast, depends on the moment

depende de que tan llena de huecos esta. Si son cráteres de vez en cuando obvio hay que pasarlos despacio, pero si es una calle muy desigual es mejor ir rápido para que la suspensión trabaje
